I've been going here for about 2 years now. I mainly see Amanda but Yvonne occasionally as well - both are excellent. Personally I don't suffer from any migraines or other chronic pain, it's more just about keeping my body happy and learning where my problem areas are. All the staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional and they will tell you what you need to do on your end as well (ie. stretches, exercises, even sprays and creams to alleviate pain). **Update - I received a very quick and honest reply from the co owner, the fact that my concern was addressed in such a professional manner goes to show they care about their customers.
My rating has NOTHING to do with the RMTs I have used, they have been amazing.
On a few occasions now, including today, I have had the bad luck of being in a room next to an employee who just doesn't stop laughing while she is with a client, not just here and there but the whole time (which has usually been the last 30min of my 60min massage). I am all for having a good rapport with your client, however, you need to be mindful that there are other clients in other rooms and when you're drowning out the spa music there is a problem. This same person will also have a 5min conversation right outside my door when she's done with her own client. There is a sign at the front reminding clients to speak with a soft voice as there are treatments in progress, that should also apply to the employees.

First time in a couple years that I’ve woken up with zero shoulder pain! Dr Joy you’re a miracle worker!!! I started seeing her a couple years ago when I was suffering from sciatica. In a couple sessions she fixed my sciatica! She has also help work out neck problems, she’s helped me deal with my knee issues and now my shoulder! Wow! Dr. Joy is an amazing chiropractor. I was suffering badly from a migraine due to neck alignment issues during pregnancy, and she put her expertise to work to fix the pain and issues with thoughtful technique and without rushing. I chose the "Massage & Treatment Clinic" because, in addition to massage therapy, they offer ultrasound and laser therapy. Their online appointment scheduler allows you to book online -- this is awesome! Julie Tessier-Woodcock, is co-owner of this clinic and she is a caring therapist who strives to give an outstanding service. Julie's listening skills meant that she identified the source of my problem and suggested that I visit my family physician to obtain a referral for an MRI. Her attention to detail meant that I could get a proper diagnosis and a referral to a specialist. Julie, kudos to you for a job well done!!!
