Jaime has painted for us several times, most recently to paint our living areas and all of our wooden trim and stairs. We met Jaime through a referral, and we feel so lucky that she is the professional painter we chose to use. Jaime was tasked with painting every part of our house (ceilings trims, stairs and walls). She was able to do one room at a time so we could adjust and rethink as things were being done. She clearly communicated her plan, and helped us understand challenging decisions when they came up. Last summer, Jaime McGuire of the Custom Paint Company prepared, primed and then painted the exterior of the enclosed front porch of our 1908 home in east-end Toronto. She also assisted us in structurally repairing and replacing degraded and rotted wood sections prior to preparation. The house had likely not been painted since the 1970's, so the many layers of previous paints, both oil, latex, and possibly alkyd, were in terrible condition. There was much flaking and lifting, wear and complete loss in many areas exposing bare wood, and in other areas a thick buildup of coatings requiring considerable sanding and smoothing. After sanding, Jaime filled in many areas of loss generally, including the window frames, a job that also involved puttying and replacing old panes of window glass. She is conscientious about products, and favours the use of high quality commercial exterior (and interior) paints and other structural reinforcing materials. She provided us with her knowledgeable advice on the many options for paint colour/gloss, but let us make the final choices. She is a punctual and reliable, highly skilled worker and a very pleasant person to do business with. We highly recommend the Custom Paint Company for both interior and exterior jobs. More...

My wife and I used The Custom Paint Company to paint a significant part of our house. Jaime and crew excelled in all aspects. The painting was excellent and timely, they did what they were supposed to do in an exemplary manner. Everybody from the company was extremely friendly and polite, a true pleasure to deal with.
