FROM ADVERSITY TO INSPIRATION

Hi Roberto. I have to tell you how happy I am with my results since I’ve been working with you. For 20 plus years I have been working out with different trainers but I have never had the results like with you. Last night was the real test. Reaching my goal with you is more important than a night partying. That’s a huge win for me so thank you. See you Tuesday. 🙏💪💕 More...

Roberto has shown me that not only is it possible to feel energized and loose the extra weight I gained with COVID, but also better understand my metabolism and how to optimize it. Hansley has been a tremendous help and motivation at the gym and the explanations he provides are very insightful and adapted to my more beginner level. All in all would recommend if you are ready for a healthier life! More...

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
First, we increase the density of mithocondria within ones cells through strength training. Second, we teach one how to eat to feed their mithocondria, to have more energy, motivation, consistency and results and to help one create an optimal life experience.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
1. Strength Train to increase the density of your mitochondria by doing at least 2-3 proper strength training per week
2. Autophagy
Autophagy is the body’s way of cleaning out damaged cells, in order to regenerate newer, healthier cells, according to Priya Khorana, PhD, in nutrition education from Columbia University.
“Auto” means self and “phagy” means eat. So the literal meaning of autophagy is “self-eating.”
It’s also referred to as “self-devouring.” While that may sound like something you never want to happen to your body, it’s actually beneficial to your overall health.
This is because autophagy is an evolutionary self-preservation mechanism through which the body can remove the dysfunctional cells and recycle parts of them toward cellular repair and cleaning, according to board-certified cardiologist, Dr. Luiza Petre.
Petre explains that the purpose of autophagy is to remove debris and self-regulate back to optimal smooth function.
“It is recycling and cleaning at the same time, just like hitting a reset button to your body. Plus, it promotes survival and adaptation as a response to various stressors and toxins accumulated in our cells,” she adds.
3. Follow the Diamond Rule of Gut Health
The most powerful indicator of a healthy gut is the diversity of plants in your diet, which makes complete sense. When you eat a more diverse diet, you can get all of these different types of fiber from each type of plant. And that diversity within the diet translates into biodiversity within the microbiome. So that's one of the fundamental concepts we need to follow
4. Eat vitamins A, B, C and K in your diet throught the consumption of Aggregate Nutrient Dense food such as leafy greens
5. Eat lots of Antioxidants food such as colourful fruits and vegtables as well as glutathione producing foods such as the cabbage, muschroom and onion family
6. Eat protein that contain a full range of amino acids.
7. Limit the consuption of carbohydrates if need be
8. Eliminate certain proteins that can create disbyosis such as Casein and Gluten
9. Get to bed by 10:30pm at least 5 out of 7 nights per week
10. Eat food that taste good and are good for you through the addition of herbs and spices that do not contain food additives and immulsifiers.i
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing the people I train transform their bodies and lives. The thing I love the most about my work i can’t get enough of It. I always want to learn more. And I love when the people I train come and see me to tell me how much better they feel and how amazed they are about how they’ve progressed. It always put a smile on my face and make me profoundly happy.

FROM ADVERSITY TO INSPIRATION
Starnino had it all — a beautiful girlfriend, a promising football career and a job training people at one of Montreal’s most beautiful health and fitness club. Then the unthinkable happened. During the last practice at training camp before turning pro, Starnino suffered a stroke.
OVERCOMING TRAGEDY
Hemi-paralyzed and bed ridden for almost two months at the Montreal Neurological Institute’s intensive care unit, Starnino lost his career, his friends, his girl and his dream. The depression was just as crippling as the stroke. Starnino was grief stricken, a broken man.
One day Starnino observed an elderly patient who also suffered from hemi-paralysis. The old man was sitting up in a chair and was gamely trying to feed himself. With newfound resolve, Starnino began to move... to will his body to comply. At that moment, Starnino decided he would overcome his accident.
THE ROAD TO REVELATION
Starnino studied all there was to read in the field of health and performance during his two years of intensive rehabilitation. He immersed himself in the literature, quickly identifying the shortcomings of traditional medicine. These shortcomings were a revelation, leading to his dream.
Starnino became his own trainer, using his newfound knowledge to create a highly specialized approach to healthcare. His miraculous recovery from the stroke further encouraged Starnino to pursue his dream in this field.
