I've been to a few physiotherapists for my ankle and Rehab and Performance really made me understand what was going on with it which made it much easier to rehab. Amazing staff and facilities!

I came to Rehab and Performance quite skeptical after getting very limited help with my back pain from other practitioners. I was amazed from my initial assessment onwards-- Steven and Tasher were able to pinpoint my acute problem and remedy it in that first session, as well as identify the underlying issue that left me susceptible to recurrence. On day one they had me do supported squats and I had NO PAIN, which felt almost magical (but was in fact the result of Steven and Tasher's great skill and attention). I've made incredible strides with my fitness in the 9 months I've been seeing them, and my mental health has improved in tandem-- I no longer have a need for any medical treatment or therapy for anxiety and depression, which was all tied up with my physical pain. I'd previously had countless health practitioners brush off my symptoms and not take me seriously, causing years of lingering pain. Steven and Tasher really listen and treat you as a whole person, and are all around stellar people. Their training is the best investment I've ever made in myself and I highly recommend them to everyone, whether you're dealing with pain or just want a kick-ass trainer. More...

I went to Rehab and Performance with severe lower back pain. Epidural injections were no longer working and surgery was on the horizon. After just one appointment Stephen , Tasher, and Chris had a treatment plan delineated and put into motion. After months of pain , improvement in my condition was almost immediate . By the end of the program there was vast improvement in my mobility and pain levels.I found them all to be caring , knowledgeable , and easy to be around. I highly recommend them. More...

I wanted to send you a warm Thank You for all the work you did with myself leading up to my stage goal. Working with Alicia there was a remarkable change in my overall balance, mobility, ability to stretch properly and injury prevention. The knowledge and challenge I gained from Alicia over the course of 6 months was only interesting and methodical. I managed to take several pieces while I was away to maintain a healthy balance to achieve my fitness goals. Before and after pictures of my success are outstanding. My health at has never been better. I owe a part of that to Alicia and the Performance Rehab Team, Steve for pulling me apart and Tasher the mobility mastermind of knowledge behind the scene. The team at Rehab and Performance are second to none! I have been dealing with chronic pain from labour and delivery injuries and a herniated disc, and Tasher and Steven are the first people to actually *look* at my body and try to figure out what is happening (instead of just assuming). Not only are the team incredibly skilled but they are very personable and always greet me with a smile and seem to truly care about me and my recovery. Prior to finding Rehab and Performance, I was not able to reach my fitness goals and was experiencing hip pain and stiffness along the way. The moment I began working with them, they zeroed in on my mobility problems and could pinpoint exactly what needed work to achieve my fitness goals and overcome my hip issues. Furthermore, they have taught me a great deal about physiology and body mechanics. Very quickly I started to see results in my strength, lack of pain and improved movement. I have never felt stronger and am so proud of my results! I work out with the whole team 3 days a week and look forward to starting my day with the ever changing workout routines and careful instruction. I’ve been a Rehab and Performance client since 2016. I cannot say enough good things about Tasher, Steven and Alicia. When I started working out with them, I was getting over a back injury (suffered at the gym). Not only have they helped me get past that injury, my mobility has improved immensely, and I’m doing exercises and lifting weights I never thought I was capable of. What impresses me the most about this team is their holistic approach, their commitment to learning and teaching, and their focus on doing things well and doing things efficiently. I booked a consultation with Steven to cure an odd zero strength situation that’s been plaguing me for about three years now. In less than an hour Steven pinpointed exactly what needed to be addressed. The most inexpensive piece of exercise equipment I’ve ever had to purchase and I didn’t even have to purchase it as Steven let me take it home for free with me. A little orange balloon. Yup. Breathing is so important. Since the consultation. I now practice my breathing during even the simplest of tasks. Especially throughout my days at my job as a certified dental assistant. As an almost 65 year old - my body was set in it's ways...... which included a really bad posture. That translates to back spasms if you let it go on long enough. Which I did. Steven and Tasher took the pain away - but more importantly - have started me on a program to get my joints and muscles back to where they should be. And to stay there! Never realized how important it was to follow the teacher's advise of "sit up straight!". Tasher and Steven are my new teachers, but both come with much more caring and skill than I expected. And they come with a different set of skills which compliment each other. I cannot recommend them enough. Please note - I am trying to sit up nice and straight even as I type this!!!! More...

For 15 years I struggled with serious knee/hamstring/lower back pain that was brought on by abusing my body as a professional Mountain Biker. Two torn miniscus, ACL, and stretched MCL left me in pain every day that I was on my feet for over 5 hours. Tons of clicking, knocking, and low confidence in what my knees could handle put me in a position that left me wanting to be less active. After months of searching I was able to find Steve through a friend, and Findmefitness. We assessed the damage, found my limits, and set goals. 3 months later, and I'm nearly pain free, stronger than I've ever been, and finding more confidence in my day to day life + in all the activities that I live to enjoy. IRAP and FMF have shown nothing short of the most professional help, and focus on technique and structure - The last thing I wanted was to stand in a gym looking at myself in the mirror doing bicep curls. We pinpoint issues and weaknesses, and find solutions through proper workouts and training.
