For my wedding we requested several song changes leading up to the day of the ceremony, a last minute request for a microphone for our officiant and were just in general pests. Samantha and Michelle at Quality Entertaining handled our requests admirably, with warmth and were able to accomodate us in every way we needed. Last but not least our DJ was absolutely wonderful. We chose Quality Entertainment for our wedding on August 20th at the Delta City Centre and they went beyond our expectations. Brian was fantastic to work with and was so professional and kind and responded to all my emails (sometimes even on the weekends). We had mics, up lighting, projector, sound, and music services all from Quality and everything was came together with the other vendors and the venue so seamlessly. Our DJ was beyond amazing!! Len knew exactly what songs to play and totally understood our tastes and the right mix of music to play for our diverse wedding guests. A pleasure to work with, Josh and Matt were very easy going and quick to help out in any way they could. From stamping down the dancefloor during set up to setting up a projector for the couple's slide show on the fly, they were wonderfully helpful and accommodating.

Josh was charming and really fed off of the crowd's energy and was able to turn up the volume on the party and read a crowd. The fact that he is a seasoned wedding veteran really shined through in how he was able to give this couple exactly what they were looking for.

Matt was great with the music selection and the dancefloor was full the entire evening. Although he may be a new addition to the team, you could not tell whatsoever as he was very professional and good at what he does.

We used quality entertainment for our DJ and MC. Both were exceptional. Our MC kept the reception energetic using a kissing wheel and kept us on track for time when we fell a bit behind. The DJ was able to feel out the room and kept the party going all night, the dance floor was never empty and the songs transitioned perfectly even for a request like the time warp. I also rented six purple lights which though them which lit up the room perfectly, when I walked in to the reception set up it was like being in a whole new world and set the mood perfectly. More...

My stepdaughter’s wedding was this past weekend,sound & DJ was provided by Quality Entertainment.
It was a little tricky because the ceremony took place outdoors,and I was playing a song live with prerecorded guitar and vocal parts.
Everything was ready to go when I got there,and it sounded great,the setup was perfect.
The reception was indoors,and Jeff had that setup and ready as the guests came inside.

We used Quality Entertainment for our wedding out at Saunder's Farm on June 7, 2014 and couldn't be happier with the service we received! Our DJ, Jeff (I am pretty sure this was his name... a lot of other stuff to think about that day. Me not remembering his name in no way reflects how impressed I am of his work - great DJ!), seemed to know exactly what to play and when to play it. He made sure all of the songs that we had requested were played and then I believe he even took a few requests in the heat of the moment. We had also given him the songs to play throughout the ceremony - not one was misplaced. I would most definitely recommend both Quality Entertainment and, more specifically, Jeff for anyone hosting an event/wedding.

Not only was Jeff awesome, but organizing the day ahead of time with Samantha went as smoothly as could be asked. She did a great job working with us on our selections and paperwork that needed filling out.

As a large group of wedding officiants, Enduring Promises, has had the opportunity to work with hundreds of DJs and entertainment companies over the years. Our experiences have crossed the entire gambit, from very bad (as in, Don't hire these guys) to exceptional (as in, We wish we could work with these guys all the time). We were married last weekend at Strathmere. Planning for the music was 'overwhelming' so we asked to meet with Samantha, who was very helpful, took us through the event and handled everything with ease. Up until the day of the wedding, our requests were responded too quickly. In addition to the lovely venue, DJ Chantele was the perfect choice for us. As requested, she was bilingual and her personality and disposition was upbeat and 'with the crowd'. She was most responsive to 'requests'. Our guests even commented on how much fun she was to watch as she saw people dance and have a good time. It turned out our wedding officiant had not yet arrived and we were somewhat distressed. Chantele spoke to our wedding coordinator, offering to 'say the ceremony as written'. All we would need to do was get the paperwork 'authorized' later. She was bilingual and has attended so many weddings, she stepped up! In that emergency situation, she calmly met with us to go over the ceremony. Now that's going above and beyond! My husband I were married at Brookstreet Hotel this past weekend and we chose Quality Entertainment for Our DJ services - not only because they are a preferred vendor for the hotel (we certainly know why now) but also because the past 4 weddings we have attended in Ottawa, prior to ours, had QE DJ's that were incredible. I can tell you, they exceeded our expectations. Johnny always kept the dance floor full, the energy was high, the music was the perfect mix for our crowd, and he was so pleasant to all of our guests. We had so many compliments about our DJ, which was exactly what we wanted because music was one of our top wedding priorities. So thank you QE for making this happen! I've had this company for our Xmas party and attended a Wedding in 2017. Both times Quality Entertainment was there to provide the music and DJ entertainment. I was quite impressed on how both DJ's in 2 different occasions were able to run a dance floor packed with fun and drunk people at the same time. It's always fun to see guests dance and have a great time. I would recommend to hire this DJ company anytime. In partnership with the Infinity Convention Centre, Brian (the owner) along with DJ Caroline, was on-queue with every single song and complex lighting queue for our wedding, this past weekend.
