Dr. Prosia's office squeezed me in, as a new patient, just before they closed tonight. I've been having awful sciatic pain down both my legs for the past month and a half, treating myself at home, and seeing my family doctor, physiotherapist, massage therapist and even an osteopath. NOTHING helped. Tonight, Dr. Prosia actually took the time to listen to my symptoms, talk to me and actually examine me. Nobody (besides my osteopath) has actually taken the time to actually examine me and find other symptoms relating to the sciatica. He proceeded to treat me with some cold therapy and adjustments, aswell as send me for x-rays (my doctor didn't even suggest that!) and will see me two more times this week. Although the pain is still persisting, I can already feel a difference. I finally have some hope for this pain that would NOT go away, and possibly some answers for this issue that was causing me issues in all parts of my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am very pleased with the care I get at "Prosia Total Health". The staff is kind and helpful. Dr. Lou has been my Chiropractor for 5 years and I feel great after an adjustment! This is the best place around if you are looking for a chiropractor. My father runs a restaurant and hurt his back working so he went to a random chiropractor locally and took him about 2 weeks to get back to normal. The following year he hurt his back again and he visited Dr. Prosia's office, point of the story is it took him less than a week to get going again and if you need PROPER care this is the place to go. He speaks highly of the place with their techniques and wonderful people running it. He will not go anywhere else and now my whole family only visits Prosia Total Health. Absolutely recommend! milton hospital. my last visit to emerg, as part of my hospital circuit or reviewing of hospitals, was Wed. after school from 4 pm and I was discharged at 1130. Out of it i got more shots for pain, and a referral for a urologist. The doctor on duty told me that I probably wouldnt get a call for a couple of weeks, as I was not urgent or serious. The next day I by chance went to the urologists office to drop off the phone number of the hamilton hospital for my ultra sound results. I walked in and the nurse told me she just got off the phone leaving me a message saying I had an appt. today, Fri. Met with him and he told me he could only do one side at a time, so the left will be done, then later on the right stone. So quick!!!! nice. He said the pain was from my back. So I will be fine as the stone is high enough. More...

Thanks to your clinic I have the quality of life I enjoy today, after 2 back injuries and a knee replacement I live a normal, active life. I owe so much to you and your staff. This clinic has been a godsend for my husband and me. Its team of highly skilled professionals offers an optimal combination of healing modalities. Dr. Lou Prosia's outstanding chiropractic treatments have reversed stubborn debilitating injuries for both of us. My injury was complex, involving operations for a broken hip and later a hip replacement. The primary injury to the hip bone was complicated by acute muscle and tendon injury eventually leading to muscular atrophy. Dr. Prosia addressed the multiple problems with great sensitivity, applying a wide and effective range of chiropractic skills. The healing gifts of massage therapist Alexis Robinson and physiotherapist Christina Bhatia also contributed significantly to my recovery. Now a new treatment offered by Dr. Carolyn Pokoradi is clearing up a lingering post-hip replacement muscle problem in my lower leg. My husband had injured his right gluteus muscles, which would go into spasm if he laid down for any period of time. As a result he slept for over six months sitting in a chair and did not know if he would ever be able to sleep lying down again. Visits to numbers of therapists produced no results until he found Dr. Prosia who diagnosed the problem as gluteus muscles that had tightened up due to the injury. A few active release therapy treatments and he was back to normal. Also my husband is a very active tennis player and was suffering from tennis elbow. Dr. Prosia introduced him to the Theraband "Flexbar" which led to a healthy, much stronger arm. Now he is free to spend many hours a week chasing and whacking tennis balls without any arm or elbow problems.
