Peter Watson is the number one personal trainer in Newmarket. After having my two kids I was at the highest weight I've ever been. With his help with a simple nutrition plan, cardio schedule and personal training, I was able to lose all my baby weight and get back to even being more fit than I was before having my kids. He's a straight up gentleman who pushes you to be the best that you can be. Highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to lose those extra pounds as fast as possible. Two months ago I was in the worst shape of my life. A year and a half of a desk job and eating fast food for lunch & dinner (no time for breakfast) had taken a serious physical and mental toll. At 5"10" I have always been a skinny guy but I suddenly realized I was up to 201 lbs and no longer happy with how I looked in the mirror. On top of that I was experiencing symptoms of constant mid day fatigue and brain fog due to an over reliance on caffeine and sugary foods to keep me going. I finally decided enough was enough and I was going to do something about it. I knew my chances of success would be far greater if I had external help, some form of guidance and discipline versus the massive amounts of fitness and nutrition misinformation out there. I began researching personal training services and came across Pete Watson's website. I called him and we set up a meet & greet, right away I knew he was serious about what he did and if I was going to work with him i needed to be serious too. This is what I was looking for in a personal trainer so I committed to the next step, which was a consultation session.Our consult was several hours long and Pete taught me all about his background, asked me questions about myself and made sure I understood what it is we would be doing and what would be required from me if I was to commit to this. We created a list of goals and I was set up with plans for nutrition and cardio in order to reach my target weight of 150 lbs. A week later, I began weight training with him in his private studio. Despite the fact that I had no prior experience in the gym, Pete quickly taught me a dead simple workout routine and how to manipulate it to suite my needs. Within one week I had memorized all of the body parts we would work out each week. Within two weeks I could point out every workout for every body part. Within three weeks I was setting my own weights. Within four weeks I was adjusting the intensity levels of the workouts. Within five weeks I was doing the entire workout on my own. After six weeks of weight training, cardio and eating properly, I have lost 15 lbs. I no longer experience mid-day fatigue. My energy and mood levels are higher, and more importantly, more consistent. It is possible that I could have achieved these results without Pete's assistance, but there is no way I could have learned and accomplished what I have in such a short period of time without his help. I now have the confidence to continue with the rest of the program on my own to see my goal through. Pete’s approach to nutrition and personal training is fantastic! I lost 30lbs on a 90 day program with No Xqsez and have never been as successful with anyone else. “No Excuses Pete”, as my kids call him, is an educator and a motivator who takes your success seriously! If you know what you want to achieve I have no doubt that Pete will help you make it happen either with his well equipped studio or nutritional consulting. Pete was in charge of my nutrition for my 2 and half month training program. I loved how responsive he was and how he brought the diet to a level where it was easy to maintain and I could actually follow for extended period of time. We achieve this while being away on a formation, sending messages back and forth when I needed guidance. Due to the limits of the food available to me I might have needed more input from him then his other clients but he still took the time to cheer me on and guide me. Five stars are just the beginning. I have been working with Pete Watson for a number of years, after trying several other fitness trainers. Pete has a competitive bodybuilding background, a strong knowledge of nutrition, a dedication to excellence, and keen communication skills. He is the total opposite of the cookie cutter "personal trainer" you meet at a mega-gym. With his one-on-one nutrition plan and workouts: at 61 years old, I am fitter, stronger, and have more energy that I did in my 40's. I contacted Pete in April of 2015 because I wanted to lose a few pounds. Immediately we sat down and he explained the importance of being healthy and how simple it is to take control of my health. He gave me an easy to follow nutrition plan that works for me and also assigned a cardio program to help speed up my metabolism. Most importantly, Pete made me aware that I was not eating too much but rather I was fasting early in the day causing me to over eat later in the evening and at night.
