We stopped in for lunch/brunch recently and I have to say it was excellent. We started with "Brunch Mezcalgarita" which were a delicious Mexican twist on a mimosa. Smokey and delicious made of mezcal, triple sec, lime, agave, freshly squeezed OJ and a chile line rim. These guys go above an beyond! My friend and I ordered tacos and a donut and when we got home we realized we didn’t receive the donut. I called to see if there was any chance they would deliver they kindly agreed (they usually don’t deliver). Not only did they bring us the donut but also brought an amazing Mexican dessert. Ordered just the tacos, they are amazing, all 4 meat choices!!! Definitely recommend it. We were seated in the middle area with stools, during the winter there are no other places to put coats on, just over the laps. I wish they could have separated the taco orders between customers. They just served our orders in two big plates and we had to figure out who ordered which. Would visit again if ever we are in town. More...

Taco Tuesday here was biblical. I seriously believe there is a Michelin rated chef fist fighting wild tacos into submission in the kitchen. The Suadero taco won the show. Great food and wonderful service, the drink menu was very good with a great variety of signature cocktails. I had "the 'ol punchline" and it was wonderful. The food was very good as well, we had a full assortment of tacos and chips woth guacamole that was tremendous. We ate at the bar as it was a busy noght and we walked in woth out a reservation, the staff worked very quickly on moving the dishes from the kitchen (which is in full veiw of the restaurant) to the tables. I always have an amazing experience at Native Tongues. The restaurant and the washrooms are accessible for wheel chairs, although it can be a bit tight. The food is world class and incredibly delicious. Instead of Tex Mex tacos you get fresh quality ingredients that are only second to jumping on a plane and heading down south yourself. The cocktails are the classics plus innovations on the traditional classics that will always leave you wanting to try the next one. If you don’t eat anything else... make sure you have a donut! I’ve eaten here several times. Always a fantastic meal and excellent knowledgeable servers. Most recently we ordered the guacamole, which was fantastic, and several tacos; Pollo Tinga (chicken), Carnitas (confit pork), and Suadero (Beef brisket) with one order of the family style Pork Belly Pible, all of which we shared among three people at our table.
