We used Naks Catering for our wedding buffet. Nishar and Kathy were so accommodating, flexible and quick to respond to our emails. The food was delicious and favourably priced! We got SO many compliments about the beef brisket we chose to serve. They were also very accommodating for our few vegan and gluten free guests. My favourite food of life. Our tasting was one of the best meals we had ever had, and it tasted the same at our wedding. The feedback from our guests was that the food was amazing! Service was also amazing and we thought pricing was extremely reasonable considering the quality of food. From our initial email inquiry to our wedding day and night, Nak's was incredible to work with. After a very professional and enjoyable tasting, my partner and I chose Nak's as the caterer for our wedding. They were extremely helpful and were available to answer our questions, meet, and make changes as needed leading up to our wedding. Our guests won't stop raving about how good every single dish was and how satisfied and pleased they were with the buffet dinner and dessert. The only regret I have from my entire wedding experience is that I didn't have more mashed potatoes. The service provided on our wedding day was perfect. Their staff were discreet, kind, professional, efficient, and friendly and they played a major part in the success of our event and celebration. Not only did Naks provide us with beyond amazing and professional service for our wedding day, the food was hands down the best buffet served we have ever had. Our guest are still commenting on how the food served was the best wedding food ever with so much variety and a menu that pleased everyone's taste buds ( even the pickiest of eaters left feeling happy) I highly recommend the chef and staff at Naks and hope to be able to experience them again someday. Been eating at Nak's for a few years now. Great little spot for soup, sandwich, wraps, etc. Same as you can find anywhere really. What really earned my 5 star review happened today....Steak Chimichurri rice bowl. Now I know why wolves snap at the others while eating their meal. This was so good I think I ate some of my fork, F#*k me! Not sure what I'll eat from now on though.... nothing can compare to that meal. Nak's steak chimichurri..... not even once. More...

We used Naks for our wedding on June 10th. We had a buffet including the ham, chicken Italiano, roasted potatoes, mixed veggies, ceasar salad, Greek salad, and the spinach mandarin salad. We used Nak's for our recent wedding reception dinner. Nishar was accommodating, flexible, and willing to work with both our palate and budget. Our tasting was a fabulous experience, where we were able to taste whatever we were interested in, from appetizer to main course and onwards. Nak's was quick to respond, and really accommodated all of our preferences. Leading up to our wedding Nishar helped to execute all the important details, from champagne service, to appetizers upon entrance as well as bartending. The appetizers were delicious, and the main meal enjoyed by everyone, vegetarians and carnivores alike. Nak's was also very quick in getting us back our extra funds, and following up to ensure we were satisfied. The only point of growth, was the speed and timing of the wine service. The head table was seated and had their meals prior to having wine or water, this was quickly rectified after notifying the servers. My husband and I had naks cater our wedding this past Friday. Our menu included: Slow cooked pork ribs Wild Mushroom and Beef Cajun Lime Chicken Garlic Mashed Potatoes Broccoli and Cauliflower au gratin Caesar salad Grilled italian sausage salad Greek salad Tuscan salad An assortment of desserts and fruit First and foremost the food was absolutely delicious. There was copious amounts which ensured no one would be left hungry, in fact some people had second and thirds. Everything was cooked so professionally and seasoned so well. Chef Nishar was there to personally ensure we and our guests were all happy. Secondly, the staff was amazing. From servers to bartenders everyone was extremely professional and friendly. We felt like everyone went out of their way to make sure we and our guests were happy and it did not go unnoticed. Thirdly, Kathy (Chefs assistant) was always in contact with us. She promptly returning phone calls and emails. She made the entire process for us easy and smooth. Lastly, Chef Nishar personally contacted me the week of my wedding and going over the last little details with me and ensuring I was happy and that everything was going to be perfect. We had Naks Cater our wedding on the 21st of April, the food was amazing! Everyone was happy with how it turned out! I had so much food left over that I had no idea what to do with it (the left over roast chicken makes a mean soup), super accommodating to our needs and we got very quick responses when we had questions, I would definitely use them again for all my catering needs! ! We have used NAKS two years in a row for our Annual Picnic BBQ, the food is delicious and there is good sized portions (in fact one of the few complaints we had this year was that the burgers were too big) and the staff was very professional and accommodating. Whether we go into the NAKS location for lunches when we are at Headquarters or they are at the park they always serve up good sized portions and the staff go above and beyond. We used Nak’s Catering for our wedding this past weekend (June 9) and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. From the beginning when we decided to book with them, to the end of our wedding day, the service provided and care they took for our event was absolutely phenomenal. Our wedding took place on a private acreage just outside of St. Albert and the owner of Nak’s, Chef Nishar, came out with the whole crew to carve the roast beef for us. Naks made our wedding meal so low stress and delicious. In the months before the wedding we had been told by multiple different people that we wouldn’t get to eat our wedding meal (too busy talking to guests, etc), but when I sat down with my dinner plate I enjoyed every last bite and finished every molecule on my plate, which says a lot about how tasty it was! Nak's recently catered our wedding and it was terrific. Before booking with them we sampled food from another caterer in the same price range and the food from Nak's was WAY better. I work as a wedding DJ on the side, so I've had plenty of buffet meals from wedding caterers. One thing that is extremely hard to find at a wedding buffet is perfectly cooked chicken (often times it's dry). Nak's Chicken Dianne was juicy and a hit with my guests.
