Consider this an interim review. Maplebrains does not quite deserve one star from me (yet), but the experience has been deeply unsettling.
In March of 2022, I found this company here on Bark. They had glowing reviews which, in retrospect, turned out to be all dubious. I signed a contract with Maplebrains to develop a mobile app for both iOS and Android platforms. Their promise was once the full payment was made in four monthly installments, the app would be live. The problem began with the project coordinator who was congenial but alarmingly inexperienced. The app developer assigned to the project was an arrogant and incompetent jerk. He ignored crucial details and just wanted to rush the project to completion. The first rendition came out at 5 months and it was functionally incomplete, sloppy, and unmarketable. I raised hell. They scrapped the app and promised to rebuild it. This was 19 months ago.
I was told some of the costs would be waived because they'd screwed up. That did not happen. Instead, with the rebuild, the company asked for more money. Since Maplebrains very much held my app hostage, I paid, even though the scope of the work should have been covered under the original contractual obligations.
The rebuild was slow, but the new project lead seemed competent and trustworthy, so I gave them a leeway with time. Five months ago, I was told the app would be posted on Android and Apple stores. Dangling the carrot of the app launch in front of me, Maplebrains asked for more money for upgrades. In addition, the CEO, Mr. Manav Vyas, offered to manage "digital marketing" to promote the app. Of course, more money was needed. Blinded by the sunk cost fallacy, I complied.
The app did appear on the Android store in January, but it was buggy and not all features were functional. I requested corrections and inquired about the launch on the Apple app store. Since January, I have been given launch deadlines that came and went. In the meantime, the digital marketing invoices arrived with great punctuality. I eventually refused to pay the invoices because so far there has been no product to market.
I have given them the ultimatum last week. Since then, I have sent a follow-up email requesting updates, but so far it's been radio silence.
If they fail to deliver a fully functional app on both platforms by my deadline, I intend to seek legal repercussions and full financial recoveries.
The bottom line - There are app development companies out there that can execute your vision timely and accurately with little headache. Maplebrains is not one of them.

After initiating a project that was initially slated to take six months, I find myself a year into the engagement with nothing to show for it. The experience has been deeply frustrating and, at this point, I am questioning the integrity of the company. Despite an investment of nearly $10,000, they have become unresponsive, failing to reply to emails and ignoring phone calls. Given these circumstances, I'm compelled to believe that their actions may be fraudulent in nature. It is a pleasure to be writing this review about Maplebrains Incorporated and my experience collaborating with them for the past 2 1/2 years.
The professionals at Maplebrains have gone above and beyond my expectations. They took my vision with extraordinarily little information on my part and have made it a reality. It is rare for a company going through so much change to reach its fullest potential as fast as Maplebrains has its CEO as a genius. From day one of his arrival, he has demonstrated a level of expertise second to none. Prior to his arrival, I was worried that my dream was never going to come true, it looked like it was going to slip through my fingers and be gone forever but he has changed it, he was the denominator that changed everything.
He started by taking the app and streamlining the process of client acquisition. His understanding of digital marketing has left me speechless. The price you would think would be astronomical, but it is very affordable, and being someone who is creating a corporation of his own labor every penny must be utilized correctly massage theorist by trade does not leave me much to work with. He has set my mind at ease knowing he is on my team I sleep well!

The income of a massage therapist is not exceedingly high. You must be on top of your game and know the profession inside and out to succeed have you come anywhere close to having money to create an app. But he took that meager amount of money and has utilized every cent in such a strategic way that I now feel this is going be a complete success the dream that was once slipping through my fingers dream, I thought I wasted all this time and money on, has been resurrected and now is looking at becoming one of the most successful Wellness service provider apps on the planet. I cannot be more satisfied with Maplebrains. They are true leaders in the field.
If you're on the fence about whether or not you want Maplebrains to carry the responsibility of turning your dreams into reality all I can tell you is Stop wasting your time with everybody else get with the winners get with the people who know the team at Maplebrains has been by far the best team I've ever I've had the fortune to join don't wait another day Get with the winners.

I have had a HORRIBLE experience. When I started with them in June 2022 - Renelle Allain, the sales person, told me my multilingual book reading app would be done and in the app stores in October.
I confirmed several times on this point.
In September, they started ghosting me. I finally called the CEO. So in November the CEO Manav himself promised there would be a beta app done for testing in second week of December and that they would waive one of the fees. It is now almost April and they are still promising me that it will be done "soon" and of course it's not AND they just don't email me back. Its a shame because a competitor is coming out with something similar and now I have lost all advantage of being first to market. I have spent thousands of dollars and have literally nothing to show for it. I could have learned to code in this amount of time and created this basic app myself. HUGE waste of my time and money. Its like a scam almost but the app exists in a very basic form and they wont deliver the code to me until its done - which is sketchy.

I've worked with two amazing people in the organization on one of my projects.
My fear was working with a company overseas as I was afraid of losing money and not getting what exactly I wanted from a software company.
