I can't even begin to describe how amazing Liv was for us at our wedding! She got beautiful pictures all throughout the day and ensured we always felt comfortable! She bent over backwards to get the shots we asked for and she also had a big list of shots to get that we would never have even thought of! She was so gracious to put up with all our requests and get all those family shots we wanted. She is such a wonderful person to be around and we could not imagine having any other photographer on our wedding day! We got so many pictures so quickly. We were only a couple days into our honeymoon before we got our sneak peeks and then we got the whole package of pictures so quickly afterwards. Our families could not believe how quickly she edited such beautiful pictures! There is nothing we would want to change about the whole experience. I can't even narrow down the words to express how incredible Liv was at our wedding. There are so many AMAZING things I could say about her & her work. There are two traits that together make Liv a dynamite wedding photographer: 1. She is a genius when it comes to the camera. She knows her stuff, handles every lighting situation like it's no big deal and thinks outside of the box. She KNOWS how to capture real emotion, and does it perfectly. 2. She truly cares. She cares about you, your spouse, your story, your family, your wedding party and your friends. I had so many guests comment on how lovely our photographer was, and her heart shows in every picture she takes. Our wedding was a milestone for myself and my family for many reasons. It was emotional in so many good ways. Liv saw that through her camera, and she gave us pictures that tell the story for us. She captured my husband better than anyone I have ever seen. When I look at our photos I see the man I love with every part of me. She captured the love our famjams have for one-another, our friends and relatives. We had a fairly small wedding, and she took to heart that everyone invited really mattered to us... She captured it all. When Michael and I got engaged, everyone asked me who I would hire as a photographer. I'm a wedding photographer myself, and authenticity in photography matters a lot to me. The moment I stumbled across Liv's page - I didn't have a doubt that I could trust her to do the job perfectly. She went above and beyond, and gave us a gallery to treasure the the rest of our lives. Liv was very easy to work with, and became a part of the gang from the beginning of the wedding day. She constantly made sure that the photos were what we wanted, not anyone else. What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to freeze important moments in time and creating something physical that you have to look back on forever to remember that very special moment. Which is why I absolutely LOVEEEEE elopement photography. I love documenting all of the beautiful heartfelt, and also all of the fun and silly moments that happen during an elopement. I aim to tell a story with every photo I take and my favourite stories are the ones filled with love, the ones that aren't always perfect, but they're authentic. REAL stories with REAL laughs, REAL tears, and REAL quirkiness. Every person and every relationship is unique and deserves to be remembered for what it really is. The connection you and your loved one has is important to me, and I make it my goal to capture that connection, to freeze these special moments so you can look back on your photos years down the road and feel the exact same feelings you felt when they were taken. This is what I love about photography, being able to capture and document raw authentic moments, true love that is beautiful and messy all at once.Â
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to have a career that I love and am passionate about which is 1000% what elopement photography is to me. Throughout my travels I have also seen a lot of pain and heartbreak in the world and wanted to do something that would make a difference. I've been on missions trips to Bolivia, India, and Nepal, all of which changed me for the better, but I saw a need in the world. A need for the everyday essentials (such as food, water, school, etc.) and a need for love. I knew I couldn't just stand there and do nothing about it. I started my business so I can use the money I make to give back to the people and places that have this need. 10% of every dollar you pay is donated to missionaries + organizations working around the world to spread the love of Jesus and end poverty (such as YWAM or Food for the Hungry).
Why should our clients choose you?
As your elopement photographer, my job isn’t just to take photos (that part is great too, though). I also help guide couples like you to plan the elopement day of their dreams! I love helping out with everything from location recommendations, to getting the right permits, to building a timeline for the day.
