I am absolutely elated with Denise, Sandy and the l'amour staff! Not only did Denise swoop in and save the day after a quick change of caterer, she lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. At one point I even said to Denise " she was the only thing in my wedding I wasn't concerned about."

The food was fantastic! Denise and the crew took care of the guests during cocktail hour, hearing from many guests that the choices were delicious and filling.
As my husband and I were busy running around taking pictures, Denise made a plate of appetizers just for us. Everything was delicious but my absolute favourite were the prosciutto wrapped asparagus!

For dinner, we had an array of choices. As for myself I had the prime rib, mashed potatoes, green beans, strawberry salad and gravy. everything was hot and delicious. Prime rib was cut to perfection and seasoned wonderfully. Many of my guest approached me stating how amazing dinner was with me quick to give Denise full credit! Even the next day the food was being raved about at breakfast.
My bartenders at the venue even said that the food was amazing, and that it was the best food they have had at a wedding in a very long time.... Shhh :)

We would like to thank L'Amour Catering for their very exquisite and delicious food, professionalism and hard work. From the start they worked with us to plan a meal that worked for our casual and social wedding. Denise checked in on us throughout the planning stage and helped us with other areas of our wedding like the DJ and decore. We can guarentee that you will not find anyone who works harder than the crew of L'Amour Catering and they make it look so easy too. I can not begin to say how amazing these guys are. Even before the wedding, Denise was so personable and makes you feel so special. We were so very lucky to have them catering our big day. Food was absolutely outstanding and was a huge hit with the guests. They also made sure our cake was perfect and the way we wanted it and it was so beautiful. Denise and Sandy and their crew were fantastic. Denise helped us through the entire wedding planning process. Not only did she make sure that our guests were well fed she also provided the linens and a good portion of the decorations that we used to make our special day even more special.

She took our vision for our first dinner as wife and wife and knocked it out of the park. She was able to accommodate all of our random dietary restrictions that guests at our wedding had and she allowed one of my bridesmaids who is celiac to enjoy dinner without needing to have a special meal prepared. When I remembered at 4AM on the day of the wedding that one of my cousins couldn’t eat dairy for fear of anaphylactic shock she swooped in and added a non dairy option and allowed him to enjoy the day without fear as well.

I would highly recommend Denise and her crew as she delivered on everything that she promised. In addition to that she made a cake that looked exactly like our wedding invites and tasted delicious as well.

There are so many great things to say about Denise & Sandy and their team.

From the first time I met them I felt so comfortable. Denise was on top of every detail. She asked me questions that I hadn't even thought about. Leading up the the wedding we texted back and forth about last minute details.

Fast forward to the weekend of the wedding. Denise & Sandy met us at the hall the night before to help set up. She brought extra items that I hadn't even thought to ask for because she thought they would enhance the decor.

The day of the wedding everything was perfect. They saved appetizers for us (which were delicious) since we were arriving after the guests. The staff were all so friendly and the food was amazing. The beef tenderloin was out of this world. We had a late night breakfast buffet that guest raved about.

I had so many compliments from my guests about the quality of the food & the service. Denise & Sandy were on top of every detail. They checked in with me throughout the night to make sure that I felt like things were going well.

Denise was there right until the end of the evening when we were cleaning up.

I would use L'Amour catering again in a heartbeat for another event. More...

A huge thank you to Denise, Sandy and their excellent team! They have been very great to deal with throughout the process and we are very happy with the service they provided for our wedding. They made sure to offer the wedding party appetizers, as we got to the reception hall later than the other guests. They were great to check in with us throughout the night to ensure everything was going well. Our guests were very happy with their meal and definitely went back for seconds! The L'Amour Catering team were so accommodating for our vegetarian and vegan guests who were raving about the lasagna and vegetable curry dishes!

Honestly, I can't rave about Denise and her crew enough. They came highly recommended to us from friends of ours & I will continue to highly recommend them to others. I first want to mention how they were hands down the cheapest quote we received from catering companies, and I will say this influenced our decision huge (paired with the recommendation from friends). Having not tried their food, we decided to book them. And we were blown away! From the first time we met with Denise & Sandy, we knew we & our guests were in good hands. They were incredibly passionate about what they do, as evident by their reviews from others. Leading up to the big day, Denise was always prompt with her responses and did whatever she could to satisfy my husband and I. What truly blew us away about this company, was their entire crew on our wedding day. Our wedding was outdoors and the weather took a turn for the worse right before our ceremony. Their entire crew went above and beyond to redo our outdoor set up after a storm blew through and continued to do anything we needed throughout the entire day without having to ask them (nor was it their responsibility what so ever but they did so graciously). Their service blew us away and are amazing people.
Now to the food... We can't say much more other than super delicious. You will not be disappointed with L'amour. So many of our guests commented to ya how great the meal was. Everything was fresh, hot, and flavourful.
Denise & her crew also cleaned up the kitchen at the house to the point where you wouldn't have had any idea there was a wedding served that day.

Carl and our family, are so thankful for everything Lamour did for us yesterday. Going above and beyond our expectations is an understatement. Driving over an hour to cater our special day, to ensuring the bride had everything she wanted and more. Denise even made the brides brother serve her, her first meal. I arrived at the taste testing late as I had to work. When I arrived, I found my future wife and her parents with smiles across their faces. They raved about how great the food was. So with expectations high, I tried the food and was amazed at how great the food tasted and appeared. Throughout the wedding planning, Denise kept in constant contact with the Bride reassuring her and helping guide her towards the wedding day. The day of the wedding, L’Amour Catering was there early setting up and preparing for the reception. The staff was professional and polite throughout the whole evening. The food was amazing and we had only compliments from our guests about the meal. Our next event will be catered by L’Amour Catering.

We have nothing but good things to say about l'amore catering! They made us feel like family, the worked with us to create a menu and the pricing very reasonable. Denise even had no issues when I made a last minute change to the menu and the timeline. All my guests said they loved the food and I heard no complaints. I wish I could have her cooking every day especially her cauliflower! They even helped us to find other vendors and made some amazing suggestions. Denise, Sandy and their staff catered our wedding of 170 guests on August 20th and were an absolute pleasure to work with! All of our guests were raving about the food! Many went back for seconds (there was lots to go around!!). We served the stuffed chicken and prime rib along with a variety of salads and vegetables for dinner; risotto balls, bruschetta, grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, and smoked salmon on cucumber with dill sauce as served appetizers during the cocktail hour; and, a variety of cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables, fruits and sweets for the midnight buffet. Denise also made our four tiered chocolate and vanilla wedding cake. You could tell it was made from scratch because it was fresh, rich and delicious! I forgot to bring a cake cutting knife to the reception venue and Denise came to the rescue finding us a great looking loaner to use! Throughout the planning process, Denise was on the ball! She sent out payment reminders, responded to emails promptly and served as a sounding board for other non-catering related wedding enquiries. Denise and her daughter came in to set up all the table linens, napkins, chair covers (provided by L'Amour Catering & Cakes at no extra cost) and place settings on the Thursday prior to the wedding. This was super helpful and allowed me to set up my decor ahead of time and see the set up prior to the big day! We will be recommending L'Amour Catering & Cakes for all future events. Not only do you receive delicious home cooking at an extremely reasonable price, you get to work with truly caring and dedicated people that help alleviate much of the stress in planning a big event. Denise and her team at L'amour Catering and cakes catered our wedding last weekend and everything was fabulous! All of our guests couldn't stop talking about how perfect the prime rib was cooked. Most went back for seconds! She also made our cake and cupcakes which were moist and full of flavour. We opted for a naked cake and while I was originally looking at vanilla Denise had suggested we go with a chocolate. Jordan & I started to plan a DIY wedding at a non traditional venue, we wanted to serve a homestyle meal. I booked with Sandy & Denise and they more than delivered on their promise, and assisted with so much more than just food preparation and dinner service. Denise, was constantly available to chat, bounce ideas off of and inquire about decor options. She graciously lent a variety of items she has acquired to us to use, because she genuinely cares about her clients having the best day possible. L'Amour provided all flatware, dishes and linens at no additional cost. Denise & her daughter both came to our venue the day prior to our wedding and helped us set up for hours. Denise was far more than just a caterer to us in our planning and preparation of our wedding day. The food was amazing, our guests were very happy! We served stuffed chicken and prime rib. Both were excellent. I had a guest begging for the last pieces of prime rib at the end of dinner service. I may or may not have snuck a Yorkshire pudding & gravy alongside my chicken, and I can attest to the dishes being unreal. They have a wonderful team of employees helping them get it just right. Denise and Sandy catered my son, Dylan and daughter in-law Amanda's wedding this past weekend and we're outstanding...From planning to preparation to set up and execution the did it all! They were so welcoming, approachable, and inclusive. Highlights from the dinner for me were the pig roast, BBQ chicken, roasted potatoes, and corn on the cob. Today, Denise cooked my wedding dinner. We had a roast beef with garlic potatoes, glazed carrota, green beans with garlic, Cesar and garden salad. And we had a vegetarian option but since I'm the meat eater all I know is that it was a very good lasagna from what I heard. My guest raved about the food.
