Great food and service!  Would have liked to have a canelloni or lasagna but was not disappointed with my meal, delicious.  Would recommend slightly larger portions as I finished all mine which I never do and it wouldn't have filled up my partner but luckily he got spaghetti which seemed to be enough for him.  Just feedback but definitely deserving of the 5 stars More...

Guaro di Quattro has been around for a long time, and it's great to see they are still serving up good ood and stellar service.  We haven't been for a rather long time and were pleasantly surprised on our recent visit. The wine and our menu choices of sablefish and mushroom pasta were delicious and satisfying.  The attentive server came back to,check on how things were going and our dinner for two was paced perfectly.  They will be undergoing a closure and reopening as the property is redeveloped.  We'll look forward enjoying more we'll prepared Italian food when it reopens. Ever since the first time I took the seabus over, 4 years ago, I've wanted to eat at this place. Not sure why it took me so long but the wait was worth it!  The focaccia bread with balsamic and oil was delicious, our caprese salad was the best I've ever had, and my pasta dish - delicious.  I had the rigatoni bolognese and it was perfect. #sogood.  Probably thee best restaurant location in North Van and the food was delicious - so go eat there! Had to wonderful meals at this lovely restaurant, one in their romantic dining room and one on the patio. The staff were wonderful and the food even better. They recommended a lovely wine. Great service and food. No parking any more,  they're building condos where the back parking lot used to be.  Hopefully  you'll go early enough for avoid lineups without reservations. Make resos, order the "For Italians Only " pasta dish with beans n minced chicken,  super delicious, if you don't like spicy, tell them not spicy or no beans.  Veal is always superb.  Too bad their other 2 locations closed permanently! Good food and good service.  They had lost our reservation (made over a month before) but they did everything they could to rectify that and get us in.  We had a bit of a wait but these things happen and it all turned out okay.Food was great - we shared the burrata to start.  The pastas were all good and a couple of us had the game hen which was fantastic.  Lemon cake for dessert was good.  It was an expensive night for us (good wine - lots of good wine) but the prices are reasonable.  Pasta dishes were low $20, meat dishes in the $30 - $40 range.If you have hearing problems, as it was packed it was very noisy and did make it difficult to hear.If we were looking for a place in North Van, would absolutely come here again. Great option to eat a delicious pasta with a good wine. If you like Italian restaurants like us, don't let to know this one. The good service and fair price, will make us come back for sure! Love love love this place! Did I say I love it? It's got everything we want in a restaurant. Went there on a Tuesday night and they have $5 wine and $10 pasta on Mondays and Tuesday's. Server was average but friendly. I ordered the Linguine di mare off the 10$ Monday and Tuesday pasta menu. Portion size was very reasonable but the pasta itself was just too spicy for me. That being said I'm very spice intolerant so it's more so my own fault than the kitchens. My friend ordered the penne no no and it was spectacular. Came here on a Monday night for a work dinner at 6pm, to find the place filling up fast.  Well, the service was impeccable, but the food and wine were the shining co-stars.  My appetizer was a fresh mozzarella di Bufala aside toasted crostini with warm cherry tomatoes, drizzled with a balsamic reduction.. there was basil in there too.. Oh my Dear, I am going to dream about this appetizer nightly until next we meet again.  My pasta was (essentially) a butternut squash ravioli on a bed of braised short rib and mushrooms.  Again, to die for.  We had a bottle of red recommended by the waiter (whom I believe is the son of the Owners) and he was spot on with his suggestion. It was Fontadi from Italy and I'm glad I took note of the bottle because I want to get some for my husband and I to share at home some night. I can't wait to take him to this place. One of my favourite Italian restaurants. Their spaghetti is by far the best spaghetti i had ever tried at all the restaurants. It is definitely not typical spaghetti that you have eaten at most restaurants. Their seafood risotto is really good but I couldn't find it on the menu the last I went there. The price is a bit on the pricy side but you won't be disappointed in the quality and taste of food. I love the food so much that I bought their cookbook. Highly recommend More...

My Dad and I have been eating here since it was Corsi Trattoria (late 1980's) and we stayed with them after they shuttered up for a few years to tour Italy. That tour paid off and Gusto remains a special place for my family when we desire good, upscale Italian food. I have yet to have a bad meal here and the service has always been excellent. Still 5 stars for us!Had an even better experience last night. The burrata was perfection and I could not resist ordering the Ravioli Piemonte again. Spaghetti al Mare was absolutely to die for and I know what I'm ordering next time- or perhaps I can convince my guy to split so we can try another dish- he will likely order it again. So often the seafood in pasta is overcooked-- this one is spot on perfect. Service was super awesome too- I was concerned about being too casual in my attire, but the waiter was fantastic and just friendly enough to make us feel welcomed and valued. We will need to come here more often.
