Flambé Catering has been a family treasure and tradition for years. We spend a month every summer in Kaleden and attend their weekly buffet dinners almost every week. Some summers, it is every week. We bring guests with us every time and have never had a complaint or a criticism from any of them. Most have returned with us multiple times. My adult kids plan their trips to Kaleden to include whatever night of the week we will go to Flambé. These nights are magical. The food is the foundation of the evening because we are all foodies. We have rarely had a disappointing dish in all those meals and we have had many, many outstanding ones. The Naramata Nut Brown Ale that turns up in sauces regularly is a guarantee of flavour filled meats. The porchetta doesn’t make an appearance every July but it is amazing. The ribs, chicken and brisket are all top notch. They make cornbread that is outstanding but the cornbread pudding might make you swoon. Salads include all kinds of local produce and are always fresh. The homemade fruit pies are yummy. In addition to the great food, the location of this facility is lovely. Indoors is nice and rustic but we usually dine in the garden overlooking Skaha Lake. White table cloths, ivy covered stone walls, flowering shrubs and twinkling lights all combine to make you feel like you are visiting a castle. Add in wonderful local live music and you have the makings of a really wonderful evening. If you are really lucky, Aiden and Mandy will be playing. But I don’t want to leave the impression that these are the only reasons to go to Flambé. The final reason is the people. All the staff from Chef Jason through every server are friendly and professional. We feel like we are being welcomed into the home of friends every time we are there. Good food. Mostly outdoor eating. Was cool out. Would have liked food hotter temp. If it was hot food price would be more reasonable but but as tasty as it was and fresh as it was we found it just above room temperature right at the buffet table. Well we are a month after the wedding now and needless to say; we are STILL hearing from our friends and family about how amazing the food was. Jordan and his team created us a Southern BBQ buffet for our wedding on July 7th and food was definitely super important to us. We were absolutely blown away. The appetizers alone were amazing and Jordan was so awesome in setting aside a plate for myself and my husband to indulge in during our photos! (We didn't want to miss out!) As for the Buffet; yeah just stop looking now and hire Flambe. The pulled pork and Salmon were cooked perfectly and so delicious. But the brisket... oh the brisket. That was hands down the best brisket anyone had ever had and I may or may not still be dreaming about it. The food was truly phenomenal but so was Jordan and his team. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. It was a beautiful display of food as well and Jordan was very interactive! The servers and bartender were equally as awesome and I can't thank Jordan and Flambe enough for creating a masterpiece! We cannot wait to visit them in Kaleden soon for another feast! More...

We had the pleasure of having Jordan and the staff of Flambe catering our wedding two weeks ago in Kaledan, BC. We are from Alberta and organizing a wedding away can be difficult. Jordan made the process so easy! Our menu consisted of the Maple Glazed Cornish Game hen and the 5 Oz NY Steak. Oh my gosh!!! When he says mouth watering catered menus he means it! I made a reservation for my parents for last Thursday's BBQ and they absolutely loved it!!
