I get the 60 minute massage - both therapists are keen to know what your issues are and they tailor their treatment to address and repair whatever ongoing problem you are having. I am a big fan of massageist Freya. She is very professional and responsible. I have received her massage therapy for five years and her work is so great that relief all the pain. As someone who leads an active lifestyle, I find myself with injuries. Part of life. But since I’ve turned 40, I find I get injured more and they take longer to heal. I am so glad that I found this place. The massage therapist I had Yaan Zheng was knowledgeable and kind but with hands like steel talons. She worked out knots I didn’t know I had. Now that the injury is healed, I still go back regularly for Maintanence. I feel great and I owe it to my massage therapist. I know that I can lead an active life because she’s here to fix me and get me back up and running. The prices are competitive and the location is very convenient...right in the core. I have been going to Elgin Massage for almost 3 years and still love it! The reception staff are always friendly and the location is fantastic. I have been treated by several of the RMTs, all of whom are very professional and great at what they do. I have recently discovered Shayna Tate, who is not only a great RMT, but an amazing person. Joey is an excellent rmt. His TMJ skills have made a huge difference in my pain levels. He also assisted in keeping scar tissue at bay after I shattered my leg a few years back. One of the best in the city.

There have been a few times where my back seizes up to a point where I can hardly walk and where it takes me minutes to get out of my car. After an hour with Joey, I walk out of the office 99% pain free and able to walk normally. He also taught me where my problematic muscles are and how to stretch them in order to stop them from pulling at my lower back. Joey is an absolute miracle worker as far as I'm concerned: I had originally gone to see him after going through a very painful illness. My back was so tensed up I couldn't even stand up straight. Just had a wonderful massage from Chad one of their long time massage therapists here at the clinic. I came across this as my hubby recommended me and doing some quick yelp search indicated that Chad would be the best for deep tissue massage. Wow was I impressed. I've been coming to this massage therapy clinic for 4 years and I've gone through 5 therapists during this time.  In my opinion this is the best clinic in town.  I stopped going to this clinic and tried a few other clinics because 2 of the therapists that I worked with left here and they were amazing.  I tried 2 therapists after my 2 regulars were gone and they were ok so I thought it was time to change it up and try a few new places.  I ended up coming back and really liking my new therapist so now I'm back at this place again!  I would recommend giving a therapist or two a try as you'll find out you won't click with every therapist but everyone here is willing to listen and try to help out your problems and fixing you up or making sure you leave relaxed!
