Dog Gone It

I have know Lisa for many years and her love to all animals has been always noted. Lisa is someone who truly cares about dogs and she treats them as one of her own family members. She is professional, reliable, accommodating and trustworthy. She understands each dog is unique. I recently adopted a dog, my beautiful Laurie and Lisa went above and beyond to help her adjust to our family and the new environment. Provided me with advise and tips based on Laurie's personality. Laurie loves her walks with Lisa, she wags her tail whenever she sees her and happily heads out the door when it is time for her walk. Lisa provides caring and professional attention to my two standard poodles. Our first meeting, she came prepared with her certifications and an interview sheet to gather pertinent information to assist her in care and understanding of my dogs. She has learned their habits and personalities - I get personalized daily updates which really gives me confidence when I am travelling. She has a lovely interaction with them, enjoying their exuberance at her arrival and providing the gentle firmness two large dogs require - she gets great response from them and her enjoyment in her work is evident in each interaction with my pair. I met Lisa when Miko's dog walker moved overseas. I was at a loss as miko is a 90 lb husky. He is home when I'm at work & had severe separation anxiety when I adopted him as a rescue from the humane society. I needed someone caring who would be able to walk Miko mid day. It had to be someone who would provide daily consistent routine, exercise & play for miko. I searched high and low for the right dog walker. I was really lucky to have found Lisa.She genuinely cares for animals. And readily puts on miko's boot for his daily walks as he has a shorter hind leg.What I love most about Lisa is her commitment. She's no flash in the pan dog walker who promises without substance.She shows up on time daily and sends me doggy logs with pix as well. Her level of commitment is so high that she has even organized a backup walker for when she will be traveling in feb 2020.Lisa is a rare find and I'm really grateful that shes entered Miko's and my life. Lisa has been walking George, my beloved Aussie Shepherd, for the past 2 years. Environmental poop bags, leash, treats, ball and portable water are always the norm under her care. She is continually active in working with animals, whether it be volunteering, caring for pets, studying to be a better handler, working with pet photographers or helping wild turkeys cross busy streets. :)She is a lovely person and I completely trust Lisa. As I'm sure we all are, I was extremely hesitant to have my Bernadoodle 'Kush' walked by someone I didn't know.I met with a few dog walkers but still wasn't comfortable as Kush is a big boy. My search for walkers finally lead me to Lisa. I felt a little more at ease from our very first meeting and even Kush warmed up to her instantly. Lisa took her time, approached Kush on his level while kneeling patiently and waited for Kush to acquaint himself with her. I was thrilled when he came to Lisa immediately and was completely comfortable with her stroking his belly while we continued to talk. I knew I had found the perfect walker in which I could entrust the care and safety of my dog. As a person Lisa is kind, caring, personable, polite, very punctual with an extremely pleasant disposition. Most importantly she loves and treats Kush like her own pet and goes out of her way to take care of him. She even sends me pictures of Kush from the walks, which makes me feel at ease knowing that Kush is having fun! She goes out of her way to pick packages left outside the door and ensures safety of the dog as well as the house at all times.I am absolutely thrilled to have had the very good fortune to find Lisa and definitely highly recommend her as a professional, caring, responsible and extremely conscientious dog walker!
