Hi Ladies, I started my studies to become a personal trainer back in 2010. I always had a passion for activity and maintaining good health and wanted to share that with others. After becoming pregnant with my son and suffering from diastasis recti and muscle loss I became more focused on women’s health with rebuilding the body after birth. I really enjoy helping those that haven’t experienced motherhood yet as well. My clients are so wonderful and I am so grateful that I am able to continue to help so many women. When Jessica first told me I won a free class I was hesitant about going. I actually only went because I told my son that when you make a commitment you see it through. I'm so happy that I went. After having my second child I wanted to start exercising but had no idea where to start. The mummy core class was very informative and helped me to start a basic exercise routine to help re-strengthen my core and pelvic floor. I've been training for years and never been so in love. Jessica is inspiring and awesome. Jessica is so good at multitasking. Even though there are ppl. at all levels of fitness she encourages and helps everyone to get maximum benifits of each work out. My favourite part of Jessica's work outs are the surprise factor. Returning to exercise after having a baby can be challenging and Jessica makes the journey less intimidating. Jessica is knowledgeable, positive and enthusiastic and ensures that all exercises are modified for every fitness level. There are a variety of classes at different venues to accommodate any schedule. When the weather warmed up she even moved outside so participants benefit from and enjoy the beautiful Okanagan weather and scenery. Jessica's classes offer a great workout, but are also laid back enough for you to easily care for your child's needs (be it to nurse, entertain, distract etc...) and then get right back into the routine. I contacted Jessica when I was three months postpartum I wanted my pre-baby body back. I'm currently seven months postpartum I've lost 33 pounds and feeling amazing! Jessica is a great personal trainer! And mom and baby classes are perfect when you want to fit a workout in but don't have a babysitter. I've been working out with Jessica and her team for most of 2017- with kids and without. Jessica's classes are amazing! She's very knowledgeable and is able to adapt the classes easily to peoples' needs. Doing classes outdoors in the summer is a fantastic way to connect with our beautiful parks and her current indoor location is great. It's in a quiet residential neighbourhood with lots of parking, and the gym is really large with lots of place (and toys!) for little ones to play with while Mom is working out. I signed up for Jessica’s core workshop class. After having 2 C-sections and some ab separation I have always felt like I had mixed knowledge on what was safe and not safe for core exercises. What I liked the most about this workshop was Jessica’s education behind it. I had never heard of a functional or disfunctional core and learning about how to recognize that on your own body and to be mindful of it during your daily routine and workouts was my biggest take away. Working with Jessica after having a baby has been a great experience. She's been amazing at motivating me and helping me work within my physical limitations so that I can surpass them. I love the one-on-one of her personal training sessions, and the fact that they're at my home makes it so easy to make work for me as a new mom!
