Great food.Nice atmosphere.
Our server Amanda was very attentive and helpful. Dinner was awesome. A great varied menu.
We visited Bistro '67 for the first time this past Saturday night. We had received many recommendations over the past few years and finally had an opportunity to give it a try. While making reservations on-line, I perused the menus to see what we could expect. The menu is quite descriptive and will either further entice you with its creativity and unusual ingredients and combinations (pickled lotus root on the Korean Burger, for example) or completely turn the less adventurous off. Keep an open mind, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The dining room is tastefully decorated, clean lines, modern lighting, lots of natural light from the large windows. We started with the "Fried Green Tomatoes" and the "Mushrooms on Sourdough" and from the first bite, I knew we were in for flavourful treat that night. It was instantly obvious that presentation was regarded as highly as taste. The dishes were equally as pleasing to the eye as the tongue. For entree's we ordered the "Jerk Half Chicken" and the pasta of the week. Both dishes were plentiful and packed with incredible flavours. The staff was attentive, perhaps a little too much so, but not enough to be considered annoying. They were though, extremely versed on the dishes being served as to the ingredients used and where they were sourced. It was explained though that most of the vegetable are grown right on the premises in gardens attended by the culinary students. The dining room actually overlooks the gardens where the menu ingredients come from. The wine list is in keeping with the theme of locally sourced, offering many Ontario VQA's but we opted for a Cab Sauv from Sonoma (big fans) instead. It's not an extensive list but there's something there to please every palate and accompany each entree. So, why not five stars? Simple- the acoustics in the dining room are probably the worst I've encountered in the hundreds of restaurants that I've visited. There are absolutely no soft surfaces or sound absorbing materials used in the decor and together with the very high ceilings create an atmosphere that sounds reverberate off making it nearly impossible to have a meaningful conversation. Even the wait staff had to compensate by over emphasizing their dialogues. This could be easily overcome with some simple decor additions, wall panels etc. With that said, I certainly wouldn't let that deter me from returning; in fact as soon as the fall menu becomes available, we'll be right back to enjoy. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. More...
Good food and service.
Nothing short of spectacular! This is what food is about, fresh, creative and delicious.
The service was impeccable, from the kind and thoughtful server, to the visit to our table from the chef, to the tour we got of the kitchen. The food was lovingly crafted - we loved our friend green tomatoes and empanadas, and I only wish I'd had more room to cram more of my Korean burger into my gullet, but I was so full from the appies. The standout feature though was the garden/farm/orchard outside the window and watching the chefs head out into the field to grab fresh ingredients for the meals they were preparing. Excellent local beer selection, incredible signature cocktails (the lavender!) great service, delicious food. We shouldn't have waited so long to visit this place. More...
Food and service were very good. The view over the garden was wonderful and it was good to know our food was fresh and grown in our local community. We brought family from Australia and had an enjoyable time. Thanks! More...
Always tasty and a hit with everyone I’ve brought there. The fact that the menu changes seasonally is a testament makes it easy to come back time and again. If you don’t know, they grow many of the foods used in their menu in the grounds surrounding the restaurant, which makes it super fresh. Looking forward to my return. More...
Amazing! Amazing! Amazing restaurant inside the Durham College. I couldn't imagine that there's such a wonderful restaurant inside a college as my friend brought me there. Bistro 67 is more than a bistro. They grow their own crops and use local products as their ingredients. Also, their dishes are creative and beautifully plated. The effort they put forth to the food and service are more than spoken words can express. Tastes are delicious! Ingredients are fresh! Waiters and waitresses are friendly! Awesome service! Only the operation hours are a bit out of my expectation. I want to come back again soon! Once a month, the Bistro will open on a Sunday. More...
Very nice, would like pop shoppe Back on menu, chairs are very hard
Good food, fresh, tasty. Service was excellent, enthusiastic. Only grumble was the noise level, I think we all struggled with the noise level.
LOVED everything about Bistro 67 and will be returning very soon.
We try to stop in every time we drive from Ottawa to Kitchener. Refreshing change from cookie cutter restaurants. Great service, food, and value.
First time there . Impeccable service, food and dining experience. Something unique and different to our area. Will definitely be back.
This spot remains a favourite among our family and friends. Thank you for never disappointing!

One of my favourite restaurants in Whitby. The food is always fresh and the school grows many of the items they feature in their menu. They also purchase locally grown meats and serve responsibly caught seafood. The entire concept is AMAZING! More...

Love every moment at the restaurant from the friendly staff to the delicious and fresh food. Highly recommend the charcuterie board!
I recently visited Bistro 67 after a couple of years of wanting to try it out. Let me start by saying that it’s a real shame that 905ers were probably waiting 30 minutes for a table nearby at Jack Astor’s or Milestones, when a far superior experience was awaiting at Bistro 67. We had a reservation but there was ample room on the lovely patio which could have accommodated many more diners. As for the patio, I understand it is open on Fridays only. Since Durham seems filled only with patios adjacent to parking lots, I feel like Bistro 67 could benefit from a campaign to promote the patio at the best in the region (and beyond) and have it open every day. The designers did a fantastic job of hiding the fact that the restaurant is nestled between the 401, Thickson Road, and a car dealership. You could pretend you were dining in a more ‘agricultural’ zone, with fruit orchards, a huge pollinating garden, and vast rows of vegetables and greens and berries that serve as the foundation of the dishes. As for the food, I have nothing but good things to say—the size of the menu was perfect: not overwhelming but good seasonal variety. Presentation was great, service very attentive, and it’s so nice to eat a carefully prepared salad that didn’t come out of a bag. We were given a delicious chocolate dessert for our birthday party member (perfect combination of dense fudge cake, crunchy cookie chunks, creamy icing and salt...and I thought I wasn’t a dessert lover!). I only which I could have eaten more of it, but we were so satisfied from our meals and starter we just had to thrown down our forks after a few bites. The chef came out and made the rounds at one point which is always nice. Next time I want to dine inside and check out the views from above. More...
Our friends my husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I loved that we could have DC vegetables with our dinner. Nicole our waitress was amazing. Bistro 67 is my favourite restaurant in Durham region. More...
This was by far the best dining experience my husband and I have ever had. The food was incredible! We loved our Jerk chicken and salmon. The tandoori cauliflower was out of this world! There was an explosion of flavour with every bite. Our server, Caitlin, made us feel like we were at home chatting with a friend and the other Kaitlyn offered us a tour of the fields and green houses after dinner. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about process of growing and harvesting food. It is very evident that everything from the food, to the service is done with love. I can’t wait to visit again. More...

Bistro 67 is a hidden gem. I adore the location, the great view of the farm, and the food. This restaurant is a shining light for Durham Region!
Service was great and generous portions of food. Just not to our tastes.
Very good service and interesting seasonal menu. Food was served hot and was fresh.
The food was exceptional The chef was able to modify my dish with no pasta but more veggies it was delicious!!!!!
The noise level was too high, we had difficulty conversing. Regardless of being a busy evening, service wasn’t up to your standards.
Have been wanting to try Bistro 67 for a while, and I'm glad I did! Ordered the peach sangria (delicious!) and the Ocotopus & Shrimp Linguine. I can't believe how much octopus was in the pasta (YESS!!). It was very yum - I'd order it again. Service was lovely, and the timing of everything was perfect. Had a great experience. More...

Food was very nice. Service was outstanding!!Stay away from Radish ceviche...bitter & watery
An exemplary dining experience. The service was incredible, the ambiance chic and the food amazing. We had the charcuterie board to start, on which the duck and smoked salmon were the stars. Then the blackened half spring chicken entrée, and the raspberry panna cotta for dessert. Overall pretty pricey, but totally worth it. More...
Attended Saturday to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. The staff are eager, very knowledgeable about the menu and source of the ingredients, and clearly love what they do. The food was great. I had the blackened chicken and mushroom quesadilla. The chicken and mushrooms are from Kendal Hills Game Farm, to whom I sold a trailer last year. Cool! Loved that we could look out and see the farming operation. Overall a great experience, and we recommend it. More...
Ordered the charcuterie ALWAYS order the charcuterie! We got Brie, cheddar, blue and I made a special request to try Chef Dave's Feta which they accommodated. Came with beautiful fruits, some house made sourdough lightly toasted (divine). Duck confit, kielbasa, smoked salmon, a wonderful complex jam, and I wish I had asked but a pickled spicy vegetable that was incredible as well as some pickled carrots and daikon. Fantastic presentation, fantastic variety, and an absolute pleasure to the palate! More...
Very nice. I was there for a wedding on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon. The hostesses walked around with various food types like sushi, broths, cheese balls. Little samplings which were delicious! Outdoor bar, thank goodness to save us from the heat. Unfortunately I couldn't stay for the main meal, but from what I heard, it was delicious! I'd highly recommend this venue. More...
Good food. Great servers. I will go back.
The culinary staff at the restaurant were top notch on the evening we went. The staff, from the kitchen to the waitress and the hostess were great. My wife has food sensitivities and they all went out of their way to be accommodating to ensure her meal would not cause her any issues and they were very successful. I have no complaints about the service in fact our waitress Caitlin was phenomenal and the hostess was great, I only wish I had gotten her name but she was great in helping the staff, answering questions and giving us information on the restaurant and the catering that the school also does. Well worth a reservation and we will most likely go back again. More...
The food is fantastic.......a nice variety on the menu for both meat-eaters and NON meat-eaters! Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Bistro 67 was truly a missed overlooked restaurant. We were definitely impressed with the flavours and presentation of each dish.
A great place to have a wonderful and unique meal. I love that the students are able to gain practical experience too!

Food was terrific and the service also.A little noisy.
Amazing restaurant run by the students at Durham College. Food is excellent, service great, and such a wonderful value. We went for Mother's day brunch and it was exceptional.
Great appetizers and desserts. Enjoyed my entree.
We chose Bistro 67 to celebrate my daughter's graduation and we were delighted with our experience. The food was excellent and the service (thanks to Gemma) was outstanding! We will definitely be back.
It was very delicious! Defiantly go again. Maybe have more staff on, there were only two servers when we went and it took our server quite awhile to come over because she was so busy. Thanks
The presentation and quality of the food was exceptional. It was our first visit to Bistro 67 and certainly will not be our last!
The catch of the day was sold out, at 7pm! The food had taken a l-o-o-o-ng time to appear after ordering but when it did, was worth the wait.
The food was absolutely sensational! So tasty! We ordered the variety of appetizers between the two of us and had our entrees as well. There was certainly plenty of food. It was our anniversary and they spoiled us with a glass of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. It was definitely a fabulous evening and I recommend Bistro 67 when you are looking for a special night out. More...

Fantastic and unique flavours and presentation.
This is my second time at Bistro ‘67 and I gotta say I love this place! It can be a bit confusing to get to the restaurant —- where to park (currently due to construction) and then once you get in the building you have to either take the elevator or walk up a long flight of stairs. But once you actually get to the restaurant, the high ceilings, smells and ambience take you away. It’s a great place with bright light beaming through. We caught the sunset and it was beautiful. I ordered the pho soup and the slices of beef were perfectly made. The broth is flavourful and the accompanying veggies has the right combination of cooked and crispiness to it. We also had crab cakes as appetizers. It was ok. Overall, the staff is superb and the food is divine. Come again... I will!! More...
This a restaurant attached to the Food program at Durham College in Whitby. It is very nicely set-up, service is amazing (the wait staff is very proud of their restaurant, most are students of the College). The menu was extremely sophisticated, with a wide variety of choices, and every dish the our table ordered was received with praise. We have some food allergy issues, and they bent over backwards to make sure our food was safe. This is a restaurant that is worth trying. If a cheesecake is vegan, is it still cheesecake? Regardless, it sure was good!
The room is very bright and loud so romantic it is not and having a conversation is difficult, our table wabled,we just laughed. The service is quick and friendly.Four salads to choose from, very tasty and presented well, all four had nuts or seeds ,but could be left out easily enough.Menu variety is adequate, entrés tasted nice and were presented cleanly.Desserts were tasty, but only one was without nuts,if you don't like nuts you have limited choice.Price point --high. The last time we went to Bistro 67 was when it opened, but after tonight's meal we will be back more frequently. It was Valentine's Day so it was a set menu. My wife has some dietary restrictions but they were able to accommodate without any issue. The amuse bouche was tasty and so was the appetizer. I had the deconstructed lobster roll and my wife had the soup. My main was a perfectly cooked steak with 2 perfectly sealed foie gras. Every time I have foie it puts a smile on my face! My wife had the risotto and loved it. The desserts were okay but I was hoping for something dark and rich. Cocktails were amazing and service was top notch. Caitlin was attentive and really understood the menu and the dietary issues. The food and plating hits the target of fine dining but the ambience is not pretentious. We love our food and have travelled the world eating great dishes, so it is very nice to have a place like Bistro 67 in our backyard. The staff, students, faculty and chef should be proud of what they have created in Durham. More...
Unique restaurant with high quality food. The chef was very helpful with accommodating my allergies.

Excellent food and service from the staff at Bistro 67. Amazing plating. Food was delicious and everyone is super friendly. The only downfall was the kids menu isn't really geared toward 5 and 3 year olds. Thank you! More...
Great fresh food! There are several green houses that provide fresh veggies and a very modern and interesting menu.
Here’s an updated review. Just went last sat is was even better (and I loved it last time so don’t know how they topped it but they did) than I remembered as their menu changes seasonally. Really wonderful food! From our apps, our main right to our desserts. We also had the pleasure of having Cole as our server. He was professional and extremely kind as we asked a lot about what the specials are, the kind of beers they offer and so on. He answered all our questions without hesitation and just made our dining experience that much more special! One of the nicest servers and dining experience I’ve ever had. We love the philosophy of this restaurant and had a magnificent view of their garden where the produce is literally from their field to your plate. The food was fresh the cherry box salad was the best salad I have ever had and to top it off Caitlin (our server) was incredibly kind, polite, cheerful and the list goes on and onThank you Caitlin for such wonderful service. Great food....amazing staff
Great food good service
Nice surprise and great idea.
Nice space. Good food. Not outstanding to warrant a 5 star however. Will likely go back but not my number one choice. Interesting fresh, locally focused menu.
Enjoyed the menu which comprised of fresh tasting seasonal food which was very flavorful. The ambiance supports getting together with friends, or a nice date night or family get together. The staff were all enthusiastic. It was a yummy way to support our future chefs and sommeliers. When making reservations, you can request, if available, window tables, which gives you views down onto their gardens or road side view. It is a nice option, but the interior tables have plenty of natural light, and are quite conducive to enjoying the company of your fellow dinner mates. More...
Great food, great student staff and amazing chefs...a must visit in Durham region!
I really didn't expect to find such a gem in this location! I'll be back next time I drive by Oshawa. For the price it's excellent! Enjoy!
Excellent food and service. We love Bistro 67!
Excellent food and service.
Delicious food, lovely ambiance, excellent staff.
Lovely atmosphere. Dinner was delicious yet quite pricey.
Outstanding experience. Beautiful atmosphere, superb food and friendly, knowledgeable and attentive service. The cherry on top was a guided tour of the kitchen... Thank you chef Sojo!
Restaurant is on second floor of culinary college. You can see the classrooms and labs through viewing windows as you head up. Restaurant is modern and sleek. Very nice setting. Very bright and airy. View of surrounding area is less than picturesque.Wait staff were all good.We all enjoyed our meals. I had the beef which was very tasty but possibly a little tough. $30A had the boar which she said was very good. $36We shared the beignet for dessert which we both enjoyed. $10A had a cappuccino $10. She said it was more like a latte and not hot enough.Worth a visit More...
Nice venue, inspired menu for both food and cocktails, helpful and friendly service ... great place for a special event!
Great food ; fabulous place
Absolutely delicious. These are the culinary students of Durham College. The dining room had a window right into the kitchen so we could see all the prep going on. The items on the menu, and the wines are mostly local. You have to check this place out. More...
Wen't for Mother's Day, food and service were both great!

Service was amazing..staff friendly...nice atmosphere..found the food either bland or too strong of flavours..No in between...the short rib beef was good cooked to perfection where the gnocì was undercooked and the sauce to sweet...so food was ok but have had better for the price...overall it was different but just ok... Interesting menu, good service excellent quality.
My family and I tried Bistro 67 for the first time yesterday and it exceeded our expectations. We've lived in Whitby now for 7 years but were used to the quality and variety of Toronto...this is the first restaurant I found in Whitby that rivals the better ones we've been to in Toronto. I really like the concept/philosophy they adopted...the food was healthy and tasted great! We will be back again for sure! One slight negative but I don't think it's their fault, is it's a bit difficult to get to (esp. for a quick take out) but well worth the bit of extra effort. More...
Some of the best food I’ve ever had was at this restaurant during one of their special events. Reservations are required or I doubt you’d get a table during peak hours.
What a great place and great concept!
Excellent food, innovative menu, beautiful environment. Love the concept of field to fork cuisine and supporting local brewers and wineries. Bistro grows a lot of their own food, so you know it's fresh! It's well worth the visit More...
Always love the great service and changing menu depending on what's available.
First time visit for my daughter's birthday. They provided excellent vegan options for her which made the whole family dining experience pleasant. Field to fork concept was fabulous. A 5 star dining evening More...
What an amazing meal! I was at Bistro '67 for a wedding. The food was fresh, delicious, innovative, and served by friendly, helpful staff. I am vegan and was promptly brought a fresh, vegan salad when I refused the salad (with cheese) that was part of all the guests' meals. They were equally accommodating with other guests with dietary restrictions. The restaurant is lovely, right down to the place settings. Highly recommend for anyone planning an event or a meal. Great local food and great ambience. Definitely worth going to get a good meal and support the next generation of Durham-area chefs.
Excellent and service I will definitely go back.
I eat here frequently, the food is excellent as is the atmosphere. An excellent restaurant.
Upper level experience.
I work here so I’m biased but we’re an award winning, field-to-fork restaurant. Great food and incredible ambience.
Great place. Very good menu. Descent prices
Amazing food, staff, and atmosphere. While visiting Whitby, ON last year I visited Bistro '67 located at Durham College. It amazing how they offer this program to culinary students. It has a modern and clean atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and nice. I was seated by a window and the view was absolutely amazing. It showed the farmland and garden where they grow all of there herbs, vegetables, and fruits. At some points, we even saw the students walking down there to pick fresh ingredients for dishes. Now for the food. Everything was actually priced a little higher than compared to other restaurants, but I mean it makes sense, they probably require a lot of money to run the program itself. I ordered the Charcuterie and Cheese Board to share with friends, as well as an Eggplant Sandwich with Cheddar Cheese. I was extremely impressed with the taste of the food. Everything was so fresh and well seasoned. The Charcuterie and Cheese Board featured various meats and cheeses that were made in-house and the Eggplant Sandwich with Cheddar Cheese was so delicious and comforting. I had also ordered a side of fries and my gosh there were so delicious. Super light and airy. Overall, I had an amazing experience and will definitely be visiting soon again. 10/10 would recommend. Purpose: Work colleagues out for lunch and discuss business and plans for future gains. Ambiance was perfect for that and the server was very respectful. Food was delicious.
Great! My wife and I always enjoy our time at Bistro 67!
Perfect date night restaurant. Great menu and service. Dim romantic lighting in the evening couldn’t ask for anything more
Wonderful experience. Excellent food and we were given a tour of the kitchen. Very knowledgeable and friendly wait staff. We will definitely return.
One of the best experiences to date. Highly recommend .. one of the best restaurants in all of durham
Very much enjoyed the meal, the service and the location. We will be back.
Once again, the food, service and atmosphere of Bistro '67, was perfect for us to celebrate our own special Valentine's Day meal. Amazing appetizers and interesting, tasty main courses made for a fantastic evening !! I highly recommend this dining experience !! More...
Soup was yummy but had to ask for bread which turned out to be focaccia and a nice addition Burger was overdone and bacon very overdone! So slightly disappointing and highly priced for the quality . Fries good !Coffee is large and good strength! Pleasant bright atmosphere. Professional servers very good. Like the fact you are giving students a chance More...
Loved the decor, large windows making it bright and welcoming for a lunch gathering. Staff were attentive and food was served in good time, just enough to enjoy the appetizers and wine selections. Staff were able to help accommodate some food allergies with the menu selection. Had the pickerel tacos! Loved the variety and creativity in the menu, we had a hard time choosing there were so many good options. Will definitely be back - a great little gem and well priced. More...
We had our first visit to Bistro 67 on Valentines Day because we had heard through word of mouth that there is amazing food and table service. We had the price fix meal, which had pre appetizers, appetizers, main course, dessert, and tea/coffee. Everything we had was absolutely made to perfection! I don't even like lobster but how they prepared it made it better than palible, it was scrumptious. I would highly recommend the place to anyone who enjoys quality food and a pleasant atmosphere. Love the entire experience from start to finish! Will definitely be returning to test the rest of the menu options.
Husband and I ordered Culinary Romance at Bistro 67 Whitby location. A Prix Fixe Menu Valentines Dinner. Overall the service was excellent, and the food was exceptional. A 4course meal, for the main course Grilled Ontario Porterhouse for two (24 oz) medium rare was terrific. The price was well worth it. More...
This was our first visit and it wont be our last. Food was on par with any downtown 5 star restaurant and the service amazing. Would definitely recommend!
Our meal was very tasty and the prices seemed very reasonable. Our server, Cole was warm, friendly and helpful. All 'teaching servers' were lovely and attentive as well. Overall, a wonderful experience and delicious food! (We purchased from the pantry on our way out). More...
We had been wanting to try b67 for a while. Had a chance this week! Our experience was wonderful. On recommendation from the server, we had a Grenache Syrah. Lovely! We started our meal with sharing the pickerel tacos. Delicious and plenty for two. Next we shared the tandori cauliflower. Nice and spicy! The lovely naan balanced it well! We finished with the braised short rib. It was beautifully presented with potato mash and braised red cabbage. Delicious! We will definitely be back! One of the better meals we have had out in a while! More...
The restaurant has a relaxed and welcoming feel and love the fact that they source fresh ingredients from local suppliers. I would definitely return to try more dishes. The Tandoori spiced roasted cauliflower was outstanding and I loved the Fried Ontario Wild Rice with crispy egg. Service was excellent and very friendly. More...
I brought my longtime bff to Bistro67 because she prefers independent restaurants to "cookie-cutter" chains and was interested in the 'farm to table' food experience. The food was excellent and our server was polite, efficient and personable. Despite finding a few bones in her pickerel and the restaurant being a bit noisy for conversation (surely the college could add some sound insulation to cut down on the noise?), we enjoyed ourselves and my friend expressed an interest in returning to the restaurant for another meal. We just had a visit to the Bistro and really enjoyed everything. The hostess was courteous and professional, the tables all looked like a great spot to sit and our waiter was excellent. One hopes that when going to a teaching restaurant we would be treated to an excellent meal and we certainly were!We enjoyed a salad starter and had to sample one of the appetizers (Spanish meatballs) they were prepared perfectly and had a delicious taste. The main course was the Moroccan short rib and it was fantastic! The flavour combinations were very well planned, this was not your average short rib meal!As an added bonus, we were there to celebrate my birthday and were surprised by a nice birthday accent, a sparkler and a simple happy Birthday was offered, and the chocolate 5 ways was a perfect ending for us to share. We will be coming back and will certainly recommend the Bistro to our friends! Serving size was pretty big. Flavour of food was good. Could’ve been warmer but certainly wasn’t cold. Will be back.
Celebrity Chef Kevin Baker's menu was incredible! A friend and I were dining on January 19th, and the service, food, and atmosphere were perfect.
Food was amazing! Service was great too!
Staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating.
Always enjoy Bistro 67. Like to support the university and local providers.
Bistro 67 never fails to impress! The food was beautifully prepared. Service was great. I'll keep telling friends and clients about it.
The wine list had a nice selection of small vineyard wines. My husband really liked the beer choices. The share items were all very good. The calamari should be a must try. All of our entrees were very tasty. The Chocolate 5 Ways for dessert was a little disappointing. But the churros and the chocolate dome were a hit. Definitely a place we will return to. More...
Overall a great dining experience. Cole was a great waiter.
excellent lunch but it took a very long time to be served our food once we ordered.(food was worth the wait, but the restaurant was only 1/3 full, so was surprised at the length of time it took to be served)Loved the chicken tacos!! Loved the correct service of hot tea as well! Great atmosphere, will be back. More...
Most delicious food we have ever tasted. Friendly server. Really nice.
Amazing food, great service and very unique building.
Main courses were great, but the charcuterie board was the best we’ve ever had in a restaurant in the GTA...and great value!
Excellent meal and service. One of the best restaurants in the area.
It was our first time and we enjoyed the experience very much. The service was excellent and it was the perfect night out!
Bistro 67 is the place to go to try something new. I am not a brave foodie but eating at the Bistro makes me more adventurous because I know every bite will be delicious. The atmosphere, the view and the service are all deluxe.Highlights:- they made parsnips palatable- beets in a maki roll are a revolution- their poutine is top notch- eating pasta here is never 'just pasta' More...
It was a culinery adventure...well doneKyle was a good host
Fantastic with my food allergies and service was unreal. All around great evening!!!
Food always good. Nice place if you are not looking for a view.
Generally good food. Limited selection, but the menu changes frequently.
This is our second visit to Bistro 67. On our first trip for our anniversary in July we were the only people there. On our return visit, the restaurant was full and vibrant. The menu selection offered unique and healthy food. We had the set menu and we were delighted with it. More...
We chose Bistro 67 to celebrate a milestone birthday. It was excellent in all respects. We enjoyed a couple of shareables (tandoori cauliflower and the cheesy mushroom dip) and then our group ordered halibut, short ribs and pasta of the day with chicken. All entrees were beautifully presented and very delicious. Four desserts were shared amongst us and it was hard to choose a favourite. The cocktails were very good as well. The wine list isn't very broad but we went with a wine that wasn't on the list anyway...from Sandbanks. It was different and just okay but it was very reasonably priced so we couldn't complain. Our server (Amanda) was perfect and she invited us to go into a private dining room to view the kitchen. All in all, a wonderful evening. Thank you Bistro 67!! More...
It was nice lunch with great service and food was delicious. We had tried different meals both of us enjoyed it very much. It was close to home and surrounding was wonderful. We will for sure letting our family and friends know about this place. I’m going to come back with my hubby because I was impressed. More...
Service was exceptional! Both the starter, cocktails and entree were amazing. Will definitely return and recommend to others.
Nice place. Food was really good, but the menu was a bit confusing. And we sat near the front doors, which were really cold and a bit noisy (a party was going on and the tables were close together). Would come back for sure for the great menu. More...
Our first visit but will not be our last. A love.y way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food and service were excellent and the prices reasonable.
Overall a great experience. The food was awesome and the atmosphere was very quaint and quiet which enabled great conversation!
Loved my fig salad, the short ribs were amazing, but disappointed in the size of the churro portion.
Love this place. It never disappoints me!!! The food is gourmet yet the prices are so reasonable.
The staff completely outdid themselves surpassing all possible expectations! The food was incredible....it was the ultimate dining experience! Our son thoroughly enjoyed his birthday experience and we can’t wait to return! We highly recommend this to anyone near or far! More...
It was an amazing place for my fathers birthday. The only caveat was that where we sat was very chilly.
First I found the parking lot difficult to maneuver to the Bistro67.There was a large group dining near us and we asked to move. We were graciously accommodated. The menu was lovely but pictures of the meals would have been very helpful. I ordered what was safe and would have liked to try something different. The service was excellent as the waitress was very attentive. Overall a nice luncheon and a good experience. More...
I love that there are quite a few vegan options. My only suggestion would be to add a protein to the vegan meals to make them complete.
Amazing food and beautiful creative presentation! So nice to support Durham College students in their training. As well fun to see the vegetable gardens and orchards right outside the windows! It does not get any fresher or more local than this! More...
I love the restaurant it was my second time going, this time with some friends. The food is delicious and the presentation is amazing. I love the views and it has a nice atmosphere where you can easily chat with friends. The service is always excellent and the staff are very friendly. More...

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE...SERVICE WAS GREAT.....PRESENTATION OUTSTANDING AND TASTE WAS FANTASTIC!
Excellent food, very interesting menu. Our server was very helpful, although service was a little slow.
Good food and good service in a conversation-friendly atmosphere.
It was our first time going here and it was a very lovely experience. Our experience overall was very nice the only downside I would say was my fish was very over cooked. Other than that my dates braised beef and my dessert were both phenomenal. Highly recommend! More...
We heard about bistro 67 through social media and decided it would be a special place to celebrate our anniversary. We were so impressed with our experience! The service was wonderful! Most outstanding. Great food. Exceptional service.
Excellent food and service, very friendly staff. Menu changes up every few months which is great for frequent visits.
Short rib dinner was excellent but needs more mashed potatoes...Feel menu needs more explanation ...
The food was great, especially the tandoori cauliflower with naan and beef short rib. We also ordered halibut and it was WAAAAY overdone. We told our server this and it was taken off of the bill. We told the restaurant upon reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, but no mention was made of this. Also it was quite cold and crafty by the window. But otherwise the ambience was quiet but nice. More...

We were celebrating two friends birthdays, very enjoyable ,Meal and service was excellent.
The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. But they need more staff (students back to school.) Would differently return for lunch or dinner.
Excellent service, terrific food ! A very pleasant dining experience. 4th dinner at Bistro and will certainly return.
The food was really good and the presentation was done well. Our server was knowledgeable of our drink and food questions. It was date night for us so we dressed up but I saw people that were in T's and jeans. They should stat that they offer beer on the menu. We sat close to the entrance and I could see the bar that had beer taps. i would like to see a little more spice sine I l like spicy food. My girlfriend is the opposite and would like to see more comfort food. The Roasted apple and pumpkin crostini was amazing and it paired with our wine well. Overall a great experience. More...
I've eaten here several times and have always thoroughly enjoyed it. The food is unique, the staff are super friendly and proud of what they do. Good place to get together as a couple or as a group of friends. This occasion was my cousin's first time there and she loved it. We had a really nice evening. We will go back. More...
Delicious food, great service, we'll be back again soon
Very enjoyable evening, great service, good food, very worthwhile. Didn’t like the stairs
Excellent as always. Well presented and cooked to perfection.I would like to see them change the music to be something a little more relaxing though (easy listening/jazz/lounge/etc) and also a small candle light /lamp on the table is missing. Some of the tables are positioned in low light and a table light/candle will add a more cozy charm to the table setting. More...
Had a fabulous time, food was excellent!!We had a cousins get together, all of them were impressed and had a great time.
Second time there, braised ribs were terrible. First time the food was amazing. It was likely just one bad experience. Probably be back.
This place never disappoints! This is probably my third time coming to this place, and everytime i eat here I'm reminded of why I came. This restaurant is located inside the Centre for Food at the Durham Campus. Service and food is prepared by culinary students who are enrolled in the program. They use nothing but the freshest ingredients, in fact they grow their own vegetables! We were fortunate to be able to order from their "new" menu. For appetizers, we ordered mushroom fondue, and apple/pumpkin bruschetta For the mains I ordered the Moroccan beef rib, while others ordered the halibut fish. It was absolutely amazing.Nothing but good things to say about this place, it's about time Whitby got a restaurant as good as this!
