I can't say enough about what an amazing place this is. Their trainers are so knowledgeable about dogs and are able to explain in detail how to control your newly trained dog. They not only train the dog but spend several sessions ensuring you know and understand how your dog thinks and responds to different situations. Our dog is highly reactive and has very bad anxiety, but after training with Wunderk9, my dog Athena is a joy to walk. The difference is night and day, and I am so grateful we are able to enjoy our walks again. If you are struggling with your dog, this is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend it!! More...

Fantastic training! I sent my dog in for the 6 week off leash program to help with her anxiety and it did wonders. I am very impressed with the professionalism, and skilled dog trainers who are able to explain everything and answer all my questions as I continue to train her at home. My dog is doing so much better now that we have the tools and foundation to help with her anxiety. Its such a relief to have a properly trained dog (and owner). What I appreciate most from WunderK9 is that I was provided with a deeper line of reasoning for their approach, and that, to me, was (and is) helpful in terms of understanding dog. I don't like doing things unless I get why we're doing it. They seem to approach their clients (dog owners) with clear instruction, clear feedback, yet lack of unnecessary judgment on the dog owner, and I appreciate this balance greatly. I would describe their intervention as a blend of encouragement, clear communication and consequences, the latter which I know to be controversial, especially in positive-only circles. They are especially savvy of problem behavior, and see it before it even starts (i.e., explaining what happens if I don't take a certain behaviors seriously and why that is). I also appreciate the discouragement of dog park attendance, as I have come to see very good reasoning for it and am thankful for this discouragement. They instead suggest private play-dates with other dogs that you already know, and I've been doing just that, which has been great for a super social Berner. I will say that I took a milder approach to certain methods, considering my dog's breed is sensitive, and are described to not respond well to things that some would consider "harsh" (but seemingly necessary for certain breeds). In other words, I have been adapting a lot of what I've learned. I feel that WunderK9 left me with a great foundation from which I can build on, as a delve into various other methodologies, get to know my dog's breed better and personalize things for him. ALSO! Wow, can't believe i picked up the same dog I dropped off! We were having so many issues with her and my kids were a bit scared honestly of her but after Wunder K9 they are more in love with her then ever. They are no longer afraid and she is such a sweet dog. I can‘t begin to express the gratitude I have for TG and all the astounding trainers at Wunder K9! Monty or as I called him “my little devil” was a handful from the time he came home at 10 weeks! Cute and friendly but always seemed overstimulated. We did puppy socialization classes, obedience classes and I put in the work at home. Frustration was the norm with any distraction causing poor manners at home and none when out walking! Having guests or family over was embarrassing with Monty jumping on guests as they entered and he would jump all over them on the couch (cute at 12 lbs not at 85 lbs). Walking was a nightmare with any distraction, pulling to the point of blisters on my hands and I had absolutely no control. It was not aggression, just a happy guy who just had to meet every person or dog he saw and I wasn’t equipped to help him or myself! I searched and searched the internet and stumbled upon Wunder K9 and actually read every review! My mind was made up and I called and spoke with TG and arranged a visit to the facility. After my visit I enrolled Monty for the 6 weeks Board and Train. I learned Monty had an overstimulation anxiety and the time was needed to desensitize him and train! It was hard having him gone for such a long time. TG and everyone were amazing with my calls checking up on him and his progress and always had the time to chat making me feel at ease. The Wunder came when I went to pick him up! The trainers spent an hour with us going over everything Monty had learned and ensuring I was well equipped to continue when we left. Monty is now a model canine citizen! He is off leash trained so my leash is simply a prop and hangs at my side. We gets compliments wherever we go! He is truly a different dog! The transformation is phenomenal, he is a happier dog (didn’t know that was possible). He knows how to rest and turn off, a total Wunder at home, and out and about! He also now has the freedom to enjoy being off leash and I have the piece of mind knowing his recall is perfect! If I could give 10 stars I would and I tell everyone how amazing the Wunder K9 Team is! I can’t thank everyone enough for all you have done for Monty! Top notch professionals and the attention and care is 100% evident. Did I mention we have more follow ups to address any concerns and continue with our success! Questions, just an email away! I am happy to write this review for Wunderk9. I have been to many trainers over the years, I am very happy to have found and connected with Tolgay at Wunderk9. All the staff have been so friendly, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable in dog training. You can see that they truly love dogs and the process of training. They are always willing to help and give guidance to ensure that your dog is the best it can be! I would trust them with any training need or issue, big or small. My one dog now has complete off leash freedom, and my Lab puppy is a work in progress but doing great. Amazing results! Wunderful owner and staff. Informative on consultation and throughout training. I couldn't be happier with the results and care for my dog. I certainly can't say enough about this great team of trainers. with the results given to me after 4 weeks, it is impossible to tell how comfortable we are outside and at home. 🤩🤩 Cane Corso's are very strong and tough dogs. But right now, with ”Sky", it's perfect to be able to go anywhere I want without my arms hurting and I feel extremely comfortable. This is very late and a long time coming but WundrK9 absolutely changed my life! My precious dog is a husky Doberman mix. While he has never been aggressive he is a rescue and was highly anxious and easily distracted . Being a smaller woman, he is almost my size and I sadly couldn’t take him anywhere in public without having my hands destroyed, nails broken, and arms yanked off by his charging at other dogs out of fear, along with tons of embarrassment at not being able to calm him down or have him even listen to me. It was SO hard being away from Scooby Doo for 6 weeks but he came home a new dog. Since his training, I can bring him EVERYWHERE. We moved to a new country and he’s been able to come with me on flights, to hotels, even in places like grocery stores and he just lays peacefully waiting for my command. Every single day I am flooded by compliments from strangers at how impeccably behaved he is and how jealous they are. Other dogs that are not trained can jump right in his face and he heels and is peaceful and that was NOT the case before. I was worried he would come home upset at me or less cuddly and I can truly say that he is just as cuddly as ever and our bond gets stronger with every day. Scooby Doo is so much happier and more peaceful and it’s because the knowledge and training the team at WundrK9 provided us with keeps him healthy and happy and knowing what his mama wants him to do. I was so overjoyed at how Chris gave him so much love when he was away from me, I cannot recommend this team enough. Tolgay is a genius and really incredible at what he does. Best money I have ever spent! All around smart and incredibly nice people, when I dropped Scooby off it was in the dead of a winter storm and when my car got stuck in a ditch everyone came outside and helped to shovel out my car and get my car back on the road safely. We can’t begin to thank Wunderk9 for training our dog Harley. Being first time dog owners, we wanted to do it right. Harley just turned one years old and is a Cane - Corso, Pittbull & Husky mix and literally had the WORST traits imaginable. As he began to get bigger we noticed Harley heavily struggled with nervousness, anxiety, resource guarding, aggression & reactivity and insecurity. This brought us alot of anxiety for ourselves as we weren't able to really walk Harley, no one was able to enter our home and we couldn't bring him anywhere. He was very good with our immediate household, but when it came to other people, children or dogs he was hit or miss like a ticking time bomb. Harley bit a family memeber and we were ready to give up, reaching for our last hope we stumbled upon Wunderk9. Wunderk9 took the time to listen to our concerns, answer all our questions honestly and give us the best recommendations when it came to our puppy. We felt comfortable leaving him in their capable hands for their 7 Week Monster Taming Aggressive - Theapry Program. Thanks to the new structure & lifestyle that the Wunderk9 team inplaced we find our boy trust, respects and loves us so much more than before. Not only do they work with your dog but they also ensure to work with you to understand and properly learn the skills you require to be a stable confident leader for your dog, which is something we struggled with. Wunderk9 took the time to teach us how to understand our dog, the way he communicates, and what he needed to maintain this new and improved relationship. We could see Harley's transformation in the first day of bringing him back home. He was less anxious and more at peace. We even questioned if he was our dog, words could not give Wunderk9 justice for how speechless we are with the outcomes. The Wunderk9 team managed to keep our goofy boys personality, but in a much more controllable way. Since being home, we find Harley to be more happy, relaxed and the best he can be. He is more of a gentle teddy bear with a calmer approach, he could never follow basic commands in the past and now he knows sit, heel, down, leave it, come and is able to walk off leash which is something we never imagined could be possible. Wunderk9 did all this with positive rewards and reinforcements, which was really reassuring for our hearts, they really love your dog like their own. Thanks to Wunderk9, our bond with Harley has gotten stronger. He is now a well mannered dog and we as a family really enjoy having him around now. All of the stress was taken away, and we find that we fall in love with Harley more everyday. We are proud and confident to go on family walks, and show off Harley's new skills. He does not bark, lunge or try to go after people anymore and that is a blessing in itself and worth every penny! Wunderk9 should be PROUD of themselves for taking the big bad dog stigma out of Harley and proving that no matter the breed or size, all dogs can be good with the right guidance. The results speak for themselves! We brought our 2 year old GSP to WunderK9 after we were seeing an increase in her anxiety and fear-based reactivity / aggression toward some strangers, and overall insecurity, resulting in behaviours that started to consume our daily lives. Our littermate friends did a board and train with WK9 and highly recommended them. We had the fundamentals down, but WunderK9 massively improved her level of obedience so that she no longer feels the need to worry and react to things in her environment. Her impulse control is hugely improved which has drastically reduced her reactivity and makes it much easier to manage her emotional responses – she spends much less time worrying now, and is more confident, which has made all our lives better. Also generally her response to commands has become much sharper, and her overall handler relationship and trust has improved – we already had an amazing bond with her, but now it’s even better. We all feel more confident in busy public areas, on neighbourhood walks and out on the trails. Be prepared for a bit of a learning curve if you’re new to e-collar training, and settling into a new routine. Special shout to Jasmine on the WK9 team for doing a great job with our girl and educating us for her return home. EXTREMELY UPSET at whichever trainer I spoke to about my king Shepard Tank. After careful thought and speaking to other trainers I realized my phone call inquiry was not appropriate. I have a 16 month old king Shepard who is starting to show aggression issues after almost being attacked by a Cane corso. Me- trying to protect my dog stepped in and unfortunately Tank was so worked up that he bit me thinking my hand was the dogs face. He hasn’t been the same since this encounter so I was looking into extensive training. I came across wunderk9 (I don’t remember which trainer I spoke to). But whoever it was - they were speaking very brute towards me on the phone (how would they talk to my dog if they’re speaking like that to me?), cutting me off while I was talking and speaking down to me and being a little daunting repeating what I was saying about Tanks prior trainer (I think because I’m a woman but can’t confirm that). I was given 2 options. To either put my dog down or pay $7,000 for the monster taming. I was asked questions like “ do you really love your dog? Then you need to pay otherwise it seems like you should put him down. If I do this training you’ll have to continue it at home do you think your able to do that?”. My dog is a sweet boy. He Goes on runs with my neighbours, cuddles,plays good etc. after speaking to other trainers and having consultations with My boy he has extreme anxiety issues (known to his breed). I wouldn’t trust any trainer who suggests putting a dog down before trying to rehabilitate. I cried after this phone call because I was almost taken advantage of ( he must have thought I knew nothing about dogs) and the thought of someone actually telling me to put him down without seeing the situation makes me sick to me stomach. Currently I have a team of trainers working with Tank and I to help him gain confidence and they had NO PROBLEM taking Tank on for training. I am ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED by the call I had with one of their trainers. I DO NOT recommend this place (especially for board and train). I have nothing but great things to say about the team at Wunder K9. My dog, Biscuit, went in with some serious anxiety and poor leash behaviour and came back a productive member of society! I no longer have to worry about her lunging at people or bikes when we are out on our walks and I am more than happy to receive all the compliments I get from friends and family. We enrolled Brady our 15 month old Belgian Malinois in WunderK9’s Day School Offering. This allowed us to work with TG and tailor a training program to work on multiple areas that we wanted to achieve a little more reliability in. 4 weeks flew by, but everyday at pick up we noticed the difference. It definitely lived up to and actually exceeded our expectations. They have a truly amazing facility and team of trainers that care immensely about getting the most out of your dog! I have a 3 year old bully cross, who is highly dog reactive. Tolgay worked with him for 6 weeks. I was pretty anxious and somewhat skeptical about what I would find after the training. My dog has returned much calmer and sweeter and very responsive to the training he learned with Tolgay. Further, Tolgay is training me to use the same methods with him and it works!! It does require daily maintenance to keep the habits he has learned but there is a significant change and improvement. Tolgay is responsive, instructive and really cares for the dogs he works with. So grateful to have found Wunder K9! Before training our walks were stressful and embarrassing. Palmer was a nervous wreck who reacted to other dogs, bicycles, delivery trucks and buses. Since his time at board and train and using the methods they taught us it’s been a complete change. We can confidently pass things that used to trigger him and best of all, I can easily walk him and push a stroller without worry. We sent our 1.5 year old GSP to Wunder K9 with several issues including terrible leash manners, lack of impulse control, lack of confidence, etc. that were making it progressively more difficult to live with him. We cannot believe what a marked improvement we see in his behaviours since he’s been home from their 4 week program. Wunder K9s clear instructions and follow up sessions included as part of the program have been extremely helpful in ensuring we maintain his good behaviours at home. Overall, our relationship with our dog has improved tremendously. He is a happier, calmer, and more fulfilled dog as we have learned to engage him better with Tolgay and his teams’ guidance. He still has issues with crate reactivity, but Tolgay provided us with strategies and a plan to overcome this over the next several months. When we found Wunder K9, we were looking for help with our young Shepard mix. He was showing some signs of aggression towards other dogs. We read over the reviews of Wunder K9 and decided to go ahead and send our pup to Wunder K9 for just over 4 weeks. We couldn't be happier with the results. Yukon is now a very well behaved dog and more than that he is more attentive to us as his owners. TG, even helped us with my mom's dog so he wouldn't be aggressive towards him, and TG helped educate us as to how to deal with a dog with minor aggression to other dogs. Absolutely can’t say enough about this amazing team of trainers. Charlie was a wild card by heart and new some of the basics going into the Advanced program. 6 weeks later, I was over the moon with the results I was given. German Shorthaired Pointers are smart, energetic breeds. That being said he goes everywhere with me. If the stores allow dogs, he’s with me. His training has allowed for me to take him places I never thought I could, along with the overwhelming compliments he gets. Now being 8 months old, I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us. GREAT JOB - Dog 8 month Lab BEFORE training - jumping on people, tables & other dogs, no recall response outside the house, incontrollable, always pulling leash, chewing shoes & wall. We could not go to dogs park, and with 2 small kids at home training was very difficult. We almost thought about giving him away. AFTER training - none of the above, more calm, plays only when released from command. Now we fights who should take him for walks. So well behave even without commands.
