This is about the World Gym inside the Westfield Mall.I've been a member for a few years and I have to say I can see a difference. Ever since the management changed (Andrew, new Manager) there is a difference when one walks into the place. This is a fabulous gym, conveniently located at the mall.  They open about 5:30 a.m. for those who are up early and want to get their excercise in before the day starts.  I was impressed by the amazing variety of equipment they have for us. Many treadmills, stair stoppers, etc. And they have many of them so you don't have to wait in line for a machine.  You will also find a large variety of free weights and an impressive lineup of other types of excercise equipment. This is the first Gym I actually love going to, in the past I would avoid the gym not because I didn't want to go but because at every gym I have worked out at, they always had sales people on the floor that would always try to upsell, then if I would not bite, I would be treated differently, however here at World Gym in PD CA, the crew is outstanding and super kind. Jordan one of the great staff members there, who I see almost every day now has made me feel comfortable, not judged, and is beyond helpful. Jordan is personable, honest, kind and someone I know I can trust while doing my daily routine. Thank you Jordan for making the gym a place I want to be, vs avoiding it. Oh! one more thing, the gym is never so crowded that you can't get on a machine it's at times busy but again not so busy you can't work out. When we are in the desert we always work out World's Gym.  That includes my adult son and daughter (who work out at home 5 days a week at our club) my husband and myself. This gym has more equipment than anyplace else.  Something for everyone.  It is clean, neat, the bathrooms are updated and nice.  The staff is very friendly, but so our most of the people going there to work out.  You can strike up a conversation with anyone...it has almost become a nice social outlet for us as well as a workout facility.  My husband and I our on (through our insurance) the Silver Sneakers program and they welcomed us without question.  I would recommend this gym to anyone and everyone. Great location and even better staff. Anytime I have had a question or needed help they have always been there to help out and give pointers. Have had some family join recently and the staff was very warm and welcoming, and helped them feel very comfortable. I really like World Gym, I really do...  The gym & restrooms are generally 99% clean, the people behind the counter (shoutout to James) are always helpful, the other members are friendly & courteous and they offer free fitness classes. ..  What more could one want..!!!   PS..  my wife and I live in Palm Desert 7-8 months a year and, unlike other gyms, they don't charge to put the membership on hold - an incredible bargain for us..!!! I've been working out at World's for 3-4 months and it's been a great experience so far. No complaints. The facilities and equipment are all well taken care of. It's clean and the equipment is high quality. You can find plenty of options for whatever workout you want to do. Bonuses:The gym has a great A/C system so even when it's 115 degrees outside it's nice and cool inside. The bathrooms are clean and it doesn't smell like a locker room. Really nice and friendly staff: Jordan is the MVP that always helps me out at the front desk whenever I have a question. Not to mention, the people who work out here too are courteous and come from all walks of life.I'm here like 5-6 days of the week so I'd notice if there were something I didn't like. Amazing atmosphere! Awesome staff! So friendly and welcoming! This is the longest I have stuck to going to a gym ever! The gym is massive and it has an upstairs cardio, weights, boxing area that is quieter than the main area so I feel so comfortable to just do my thing! 11/10! Highly recommend!

I have been meaning to write this review for a while, but coming across this wonderful and thoughtful addition in the female bathroom was the final push for me to do so (see photo). I have held a few gym memberships with other gyms, have been a visitor of numerous gyms (both in Australia and internationally), and I have also worked at gyms. I have now held a membership with World Gym for about 2yrs and I have to say this gym is hands down, honestly, the best gym I have ever come across! World Gym thinks of the little things as well as the big. The facilities and the huge range of equipment is amazing, and the management is outstanding (which really plays a huge role in why this gym is so special)! World Gym often runs really fun promotions and events, and is constantly coming up with creative and kind ways of inspiring, encouraging, and recognising its members. I genuinely can not rate this gym highly enough, my only gripe is that it needs to be replicated! Thanks Wolrd Gym for being so awesome More...

To each their own but I LOVE this gym and don't plan on leaving any time soon. I started going here when they first opened a few years ago before I moved out of the area. Well, I moved back to Rochester last year and tried a few other gyms before returning back to World Gym. I like how spacious the gym is, with multiple different sections and rooms so you don't feel overcrowded. There is nothing worse to me than having to be in a gym with tons of people surrounding you on either side. This gym also feels clean to me... the carpets are always vacuumed and the machines washed down... Overall, my fave gym in the area! More...

I can't believe I didn't make the move sooner from the old gym. kids love the creche at WORLD GYM and the ladies are lovely. The gym facilities are amazing and all the fitness classes are in other rooms which leaves room for people just using the gym..winner for me. The PERSONAL Trainers are awesome..they go above and beyond for the clients of the gym. Front desk staff always greet u with a smile and help u if needed. when I started working out at world gym I was working the machines.  I had seen some improvement but I wasn't really making the gains I thought I should be.  I  decided it was time to get some professional advice so I hired a trainer.  My first trainer was Darryl S.  Great guy and I learned a lot from him,  not just weights and working out but also diet.   After a few months I switched to Edward H.  Thats when I started seeing the gains I was looking for.  At the start of each session he will ask what I'd like to work on,  once I tell him we are off.  The fun part is its not the same machine or the same exercise every time.  He gives options to working out so it doesn't get repetitive.  He's also very patient which is a good thing since I ask a lot of questions.  The effort is up to you to meet your goals but if you are looking for a trainer who can help you reach your goals then ask for Edward H. Best gym i have ever been too... equipment is brilliant, lots of it and there is so much u can do... The staff are beyond amazing all of them, they always greet you with a smile and a hello and are always so happy. its an amazing vibe when u walk in. and they make the most amazing shakes... i know that gyms have this stigma about being intimidating because you have ur die hard muscle people there, but i am a 52 year old female and i feel right at home there and not intimidated at all..quiet tje opposite... they also have the best bunch of PT's each and everyone is amazing!!! world gym maroochydore u have changed my life!!!
