Willow Wash

I debated writing this review, but after a week has passed since we hired Willow Wash I feel that others should be aware of the experience we had.

We hired them to pressure wash our 70sqft patio, and we agreed to the price. The person arrived and said it would take an hour, but he took about 30 minutes just to set up the equipment. We were also told that washing the walls of the patio (which are the same concrete material as the floor, and are included in the patio) would cost more, and also the windows. We agreed, even though this wasn’t told to us when we hired them. We had even sent them photos of the patio, so if there was a time to let us know, it would’ve been when we sent the photos.

At the end, when it came time to pay him… we looked at the patio and noticed it was still very dirty, and it looked like he hadn’t washed it at all. There was a tonne of muck in one corner of the patio, and the walls of the patio weren’t done (somehow they actually looked WORSE… which was very confusing).
The guy told us his “pressure washer started to overheat, so he couldn’t finish the job” so we were left with a patio that didn’t look much different from how we started.

It felt like a waste of time and money, when for the same price and effort we could’ve rented a pressure washer and done it ourselves.

At the end of the day, he did give us a small discount but we still felt that the work he did, did not match up with what was promised when we hired them and discussed services.

Another note: during cleaning, the guy had picked up our barbecue (so he could clean under it, I’m assuming) and when he did, he spilled grease everywhere on the barbecue and patio. We noticed the next day that our barbecue no longer works on one side — the heat only works on the right side, so he broke our barbecue. We were upset to discover this when we went to use it. We aren’t sure what he did, but whatever it was… it happened when he moved our barbecue by picking it up and not being gentle enough. Disappointing because now we have to buy a new barbecue, when ours was working perfectly before we hired these guys.

Overall, I wouldn’t hire or recommend this company. It seems that they don’t entirely understand how to run a business… from the time estimation/project completion time, to the actual caliber of work being done… all of it left us disappointed and frustrated. We felt our time was wasted.

On the day of the service, the team arrived on time and got right to work. They were professional and courteous, and they took the time to ensure that my property was protected during the cleaning process. They also used state-of-the-art equipment that was both effective and efficient.
