Was looking for a place to get some food for 4 ppl last Christmas(2022), came across West Island Catering. The menu that they offered seemed good but was not sure that we would like it, I'm kind of a fussy eater.
A single bite and I new we made the right choice. One word to describe the food: heaven. Portions are more than fair. Quality A+. Customer service above and beyond.
This year since my in-laws eat like little birds we order only 3 meals with a few extras. We still had enough leftovers to enjoy (and we did) the next day. A little hick-up happened with our order: they forgot to give us the sticky toffee pudding. We live at the other end of the island about 1hr away and I did not feel like going back especially since the bridge to ile aux Tourtes was closed and causing heavy traffic delays. No problem they took responsibility and actually came to deliver the dessert. That is what you call top notch customer service by going above and beyond. FYI I would have went back for that dessert, it's to die for. Will be ordering extra desserts next year.
I want to take a moment to thank Nav and her team for the delicious meals that she prepares. For a family like ours or those who are alone at Christmas, they provide a valuable service, making it possible to have a traditional and delicious Christmas meal. Hope that she will be doing this for a long time.

I was looking for a caterer when I came across West Island catering. I called and spoke with Nav and she immediately made me feel comfortable.
Her professionalism and kind manner helped me put together a menu that left all my guests in awe. From the preparations to the presentation it was perfect. The food was delicious. What can I say, the staff, the food, all of it was perfect. If your looking for professional, 5 star quality and service just call Nav, she won't disappoint you ! Can't wait to host another party and call her back!

I don't have one dish, but i love to focus on farm to table menu items that support the local suppliers.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Talking to the local suppliers, understanding what is in season, beautiful, and fresh. I then take the time to discuss with my clients what they wish they had. I then marry the two and produce an amazing product!
What do you love most about your job?
Creating amazing foods with inspiration that people love at a very affordable price.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After 20 years of working with some of the greatest chefs around the world, it was time for me to take everything i learned and apply it against the one area i love most, catering private events!
