I was planning my wedding from overseas so I found Vimo through wedding wire. Communication was prompt and they were very accommodating and work around my schedule as I was not living in Vancouver. My makeup artist was Leslie from Vimo. She is very attentive. She would ask you what your style is and what you are looking for so she can advice accordingly. The Hair Make-up was flawless. Got my hair and makeup done for prom with Vimo, and although I inquired about prom makeup less than a month before prom, Lily was very prompt in her responses and answered all the questions I had. The makeup artist came early and set up on time as well. She listened to my requests and recreated them very well. My makeup lasted all night except for a few patches on my face, but my skin can be problematic. My hair was done wonderfully. Thank you Vimo for helping to make my prom night a wonderful one! Lily is outstanding! I first visited the store in March and rented the first dress that I could fit into. I lost weight and went back at the beginning of May in hopes of finding a more flattering dress. Lily helped me out with this and was so patient in finding the perfect dress for me (and she did!) which was a pleasant surprise especially since I had already paid the rental fee for the original dress. Lily was super patient & helpful as she helped me with picking my prom dress, and was quick to reply to my emails to ensure I had the most stress-free experience possible. She was very friendly & professional.Vimo's dresses were all pretty and the store offered a wide range of styles for any bride/bridesmaid/prom girl's tastes. My friend and I have two very different styles but we both found our dream dresses here.All in all, my experience with Vimo was a positive one. I did my wedding makeup and photography with Vimo Wedding. Fiona is super helpful! She accommodated my last minute request to add makeup services to two moms and arranged it the night before my wedding day. I really like my hair and makeup. I did two styles - one for Chinese traditional outfit and another for wedding dress. Both of them looked great in person and on camera. And they lasted 5 hours flawlessly! For the photographer, Fiona showed us works from several photographers and we picked our favorite one at a reasonable price. The photos came out great! When I first saw Vimo Wedding on google, I didn't much believe the high score and just thought "why not give it a try". BUT, now, I wanna say I basically enjoyed everything with Vimo - the dress, makeup, and hair. They are really customer-oriented. Fiona is great. She knows about all the dresses and gave me exactly what I want. The makeup stylist I didn't know her name, but very patient and nice! My wedding went quite well. Very accommodating during the make up trial and on the day of the wedding, and responsive when contacted.
