Great food reasonably priced with wonderful setting. Very nice wine list. They were very busy on the night of our visit and we had a later reservation, hence, the food was a bit slow getting to our table, but overall a very good evening!

My husband and I had a delightful birthday meal at Villa Rosa--one of our two local favourites in Penticton. They produce a consistently excellent product with great, knowledgable servers. Tyler (owner) always comes to the table to chat and check that everything is to their high standards. We took our own special bottle of wine and were charged a small corkage fee to have it served. We have, in the past, had family occasions on the outdoor patio in the summer and it is lovely--with the same excellent service and food quality. We always enjoy our meal at Villa Rosa...we go there for every birthday and anniversary to celebrate the occasion. As always our meal was lovely and the service attentive. The noise level was quite high as the restaurant was busy and the music was too loud to converse easily. We were disappointed that our anniversary was not acknowledged this time. It was added to our reservation...but our server did not even say Happy Anniversary...unusually we find a bit more of a personal approach at Villa Rosa which we appreciate. All in all...still a lovely evening...maybe we'll avoid the Saturday night crowd next time. More...

We were in Penticton for the Jazz Festival and Villa Rosa was recommended to us. What a great place - the food and service was excellent. Between four of us we tried a pasta dish, veal and chicken and each one was great. The server also recommended wines that we thoroughly enjoyed. We did a short notice visit to the VR, via Open Table and we were very pleased that we got in and served so well.The starters and mains were excellent, service was great, handy when you needed but not intrusive. The meals all arrived hot, which was greatly appreciated by all. We have enjoyed many meals at Villa Rosa over the years and it is still one of our favorites. It is also a favorite of our family who come to visit Penticton over the summer holidays. We always have terrific meals which are consistently good. I also want to mention our server, Steph which we’ve been fortunate to have the last couple of visits.
