We had a spectacular event at our home for 14 guests on the weekend for our daughter's 35th birthday and VPD was over the top. Warren and K fun, personable and extremely professional. Amazing 5 course meal that catered to all our gluten intolerant guests that was so flavorful and delicious. Would recommend VPD 100 percent and can't wait for them to cater another event for us, next time for our business. The two chefs left our kitchen cleaner than before they started preparing. Unfortunately, I have not had the best experience with Vancouver Private Dining. We paid a deposit of close to $600 for an event that has not been able to take place because of COVID and they will not refund it. At this point, the deposit was for a dining event for 12 people, which with restrictions we cannot have. They have not provided any services for us at all, and are not giving the deposit back for an event that we cannot have anymore. I hired Vancouver Private Catering for my small wedding at the end of August. The summer menu was beautifully curated and all my guests raved about how delicious the food was. This was an amazing experience. Arranged an intimate private dinner in our backyard to celebrate my spouse's birthday. VPD's food and service exceeded our expectations. Vancouver Private Dining catering our businesses launch party and blew our guests out of the water. Evan was our chef and he was able to plan food and the style at which it was served PERFECTLY for our event. The food was not only delicious, but creatively innovated and heightened the experience of our guests. He was accommodating to the kitchen we were able to provide and the date and hour of event. Evan was very friendly and a treat to work with for this catering event. Although it was not an event where he had the chance to interact with guests, he did interact with our event servers and was very polite, professionable, friendly, and knowledgeable. The style of our event was cocktail style, but we would love to experience Chef Evans cooking for a sit-down plated dinner too! That's a hard question to answer, we have such a diverse team, and every chef has their own specialty.
Our culinary team has worked globally and in Vancouver’s best restaurants, learning from great chefs how to pay meticulous attention to detail. Our teams use a combination of traditional and modernist culinary techniques that play off of global flavors and food trends.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Our goal is to create the perfect menu for you event. We offer seasonal sample menus for our clients to choose from, but we also base our menus off of client's recommendations, dietary preferences and suggestions.
What do you love most about your job?
We love creating and being a part of people's happiest moments. Whether a staff party, private dinner, or wedding, our chefs enjoy creating a fun environment and a memorable event!
What inspired you to start your own business?
After years of working in fine dining kitchens at executive chef levels, I realized that I did not enjoy life in a restaurant environment anymore, so I decided to bring the fine dining restaurant experience to our client's home or event space! This choice provides not only myself but our entire staff with a living wage and a true work-life balance.

We typically provide our services in-person but we are able to offer digital cooking courses for corporate or residential clients. We are also able to offer multi-course family-style drop off meals.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We operate out of a HACCP certified kitchen facility where our staff must wear masks at all times. There are hired workers at our facility who sanitize all surfaces every hour and make sure that all hand sanitizer checkpoints are stocked. We also maintain a strict no outsiders policy within our kitchen, and anyone who enters is temperature checked and must fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire.
At our clients' events, we are always wearing a mask and gloves and carry professional-grade quat sanitizer with us at all times.
Private Parties
You are the star of this show, and we want to help make your party as unique as possible. Whether you choose to sit for a plated dinner or mingle for a standing cocktail style party with canapés and live chef stations, our team will provide an impressive demonstration of culinary flare with a charming personality to match.
We can work with you to curate your dream party or create a hands-off turnkey experience with partner decorators and sommeliers. There is no correct answer, except let's have fun.

We believe good food doesn’t have to end in a post dining comatose, instead, we aim to create innovative culinary dishes to recharge your team and sustain mental focus throughout the workday.
Corporate Team Building
Finding ways to bond and engage as a team during COVID-19 restrictions can be challenging. We understand the importance of fostering a sense of belonging through in-person team bonding events while maintaining a safe atmosphere for your team. We offer intimate cooking classes where your team can work together on cooking and preparing dishes, learning new cooking skills, and making incredible memories. We aim to bring the bonding experience of sharing a meal together on a retreat, to the office with our team building events.
