From booking through the office (which was quick and easy to understand) to my actual moving day, I have nothing but good things to say about TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. My movers arrived on time, were good-natured and incredibly capable, and set my mind at ease instantly when we met. We went over the plan for the move only once, but they never forgot any of the specifics. I was able to just sit back and sip coffee and let them work. Please note, the movers had to carry everything down a flight of stairs moving out of my apartment due to the elevator being unavailable, and they were still done in less than an hour. On our recent move for my elderly mother we learned that Brad donates unwanted furniture to women shelters and other charities. He was able to move all the donated furniture to the shelters at a much lower price compared to his competitors. The crew was very careful and cautious with the belongings. Curtis and his team were awesome. They were polite and respectful of my property. They worked the entire three hours without taking a break. I was impressed. The last moving company I used took almost twice the time to move the same amount of furniture and boxes. Because of their competency, Two Men and A Truck were able to save me some money too. Maddison, who took my call, was kind, courteous and very helpful. She explained everything and even had Curtis bring the paperwork for me to sign that I had forgotten before the move. I also needed to put my apartment contents in storage and Curtis called me after they were finished so I would know how much time it had taken. They made a difficult day a lot easier for me. I was left with a terrible situation when my new home did not close the same day as my old home as expected. I paid for the first day's move and then Two Men and a Truck were able to organize on the fly to be able to hold my items overnight in their truck and squeeze me in for a move on day two. From the initial email and then follow up phone call, the experience with 2 Men was incredible. Boxes were quickly delivered for prepacking, all details were covered and the quote was spot on. No hidden fees and the rates were competitive and in most cases, lower. On moving day the crew (Kojo, Kevin and Kal) arrived right on time. They were professional, friendly and frankly, worked their butts off. It was over 40 degrees and they never lost their sense of humour or their work ethic. They were on time, surveyed the items to be moved, wrapped the furniture then organized the truck for the 3 drop off locations.
