Twisted Indian Wraps Park Place Barrie

My husband and I tried it for the first time today. We are from Orillia, so we wanted a sneak peek before the location in our town opens this spring/summer. The employee who served us was awesome. She explained the whole menu and helped me decide what I could eat as a vegan. She clarified what was spicy and not spicy for my delicate flower of a husband. ;) I got the meal with basmati rice and beans/chickpeas, side salad with the vegan chipotle mango sauce on top, and naan. I was offered extra chickpeas/beans as my protein. I hoped that there might be a mixed vegetable or something for that portion of the meal but it was still very good. The basmati rice was fairly cold but the chickpea/bean situation warmed it up nicely. I ended up separately buying samosas instead of the extra bean portion in place of meat. All around good meal! My husband got the twisted burger. He liked it. He thought it would be better if he had more options to add as burger toppings, though he is kind of picky when it comes to ethnic food, so it's not the fault of the franchise. 4.8/5 with a bit of wiggle room. I was at my mom's house for the weekend, and I was craving Indian food. It was late, and most restaurant were closed. I knew I was stuck with either pub food or fast food. I scrolled through Yelp, and voila! I found a place with "express Indian food". I was a little skeptical about the quality of speedy Indian food, but as soon as I looked at the display I knew I had a delicious food coma evening waiting for me. The service was great.
