Upstairs is really nice. We had nachos and bartenders special wings. The food was great and we were served quickly. I had the Trolley No 5 beer and it was an average amber beer. All in all a great experience!

We had our June wedding reception here and we highly recommend it! The venue upstairs is stunning and a very unique space. All our guests adored having the reception at one of our favorite breweries. Trolley 5 has amazing service and flexibility. All the staff seriously go above and beyond! I worked lots with Ernie, the owner, to go over all the details and everything went perfectly smooth the day of. Our wedding ceremony took place outside but throughout the week of we thought it should be changed to inside because of the forecasted rain. We had decided the day before to keep the ceremony outside, but Trolley was prepared anyway! The morning of the wedding they set up the space for the ceremony in case we changed our minds last minute! They all go above and beyond here. You will not be disappointed. More...

Great for our medium sized gathering, 20ish people with a few pre-orderd appetizers, staff were fantastic, managers and host and the events person I booked with were fantastic. The food is amazing.

The staff is amazing, I've been going here with my boyfriend for quite some time now and they remember our names and have our drink orders ready when we sit. The food is amazing, if they think they can do better they will go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and they getting your money's worth. They have an amazing happy hour special and food specials, what else can you ask for other than friendly staff, a warm environment and amazing food! More...

Great beer BUT we purchased the Derailed Pale Ale cans from the liquor store last night and were horribly disappointed. It was so over carbonated that it was difficult to drink! I booked the private barrel room for my Husband's 30th birthday, and everything turned out exceptional! From the very beginning Ernie was SO helpful in organizing the event. The food was great, and we were especially impressed with the wonderful service throughout the night. I can't say enough kind things about Puneet! From the minute we walked in the door, to the minute we walked out (which was quite late haha), he was there ready to help with whatever we needed. Have been a number of times. Always a great experience from Brunch to happy hour through to dinner Today I’m trying the Pig n’ Pineapple pizza. I’ve had it before and was honestly one of the best I’d had. I went with the in house “Derailed Pale Ale”. Look at me stepping away from wine. I’m sticking with the pizza. It was fantastic. I came by for lunch on my walk today. Monday all day happy hour was a bonus I had the Brisket sandwich. The brisket was nicely smoked. Not too strong and shaved to perfection for the sandwich. A big shout out for the bun having one solid side. It flipped open. Did not loose a bite to the plate . It comes with slaw on top. I asked for it on the side No problem. I asked for an extra pickle. Again no problem I went out of my normal wine comfort zone and had an in house Pale Ale. Jordan’s service was second to none. Attention to customers was noted around the room. Explained the in-house sauce and checked in without being obtrusive. Friendly service from the door onward Previously if had the Pig and Pineapple pizza . It was amazing. There's a certain sweetness to the pineapple and the mounds of pig. I'm going to say the best themed Hawaiian pizza I've had. I’ve been to happy hour a few times. Really enjoyed it. Overall I’d highly recommend it when you are out and about. Can’t wait for patio season Updated for brunch. Was walking by on a Sunday. Brunch TIL 3. Why not. The Eggs Bennie was perfect. The social club for our business hosted a gathering at Trolley 5. This was my first visit but I'm confident that it won't be the last. Our event was in the space on the second floor which was large enough to comfortably accommodate our group of around 60 people. The space is well laid out for an event like this and the staff did a very good job of looking after the guests. My expectations for the food at events like these is pretty low but Trolley 5 really knocked it out of the park. The smoked turkey was juicy and flavourful and the apple stuffing was a real treat. Even staples like the steamed seasonal vegetables and roasted potatoes were very well executed. The icing on the cake was the extra effort that the Manager, Puneet, made to accommodate the dietary restrictions of one of our guests. When asked if any of the food in the buffet was gluten and dairy free he hustled off to the kitchen and reappeared a few minutes later with a beautiful plate of turkey, rice and vegetables specially prepared. I nearly fell out of my chair when Puneet showed up again later with a dairy free dessert that was also delicious. I so appreciate the attention to detail and obvious care for the guest experience at Trolley 5. I highly recommend it for corporate events or for just a night out with friends. More...

All the staff was eager to serve, I was looking around at the bar and another wait staff thought I needed something and rushed over. Stayed in Calgary to bookend a trip to Banff National Park and happened upon Trolley 5 looking for a place to grab a quick bite and brew before heading to the mountains. What we found was a wonderful little brewpub with killer food and a wide selection of inhouse and collab beers. Loved it so much we ended up coming back the following weekend before our flight out. The manager, Paul, and all of the servers made us all feel like local Calagarians  and provided attentive, friendly service on both visits.
