I started working with Sarah about a year ago and she has drastically changed my life. It can be very intimidating starting lifestyle changes but she is extremely easy to get along with and is very good at explaining rationales and accurate timelines. Her education and knowledge about health and fitness goes well above that of other trainers. I am a nurse with a heavy science and education background so it is important to me that people teaching me actually know what they are talking about (including anatomically) Sarah fits that need perfectly. She has a undergrad degree in kinesiology and I have the the utmost appreciation for her dedication to continued education and learning. She continues her learning by completing certified courses to ensure she maintains her trainer certification and stay current on nutrition, wellness, and health. She completes self driven research as needed to better improve outcomes and results for her clients. Her prices are beyond reasonable as she is such an expert and she puts such quality and care into each session as well as talking time to connect with me outside of sessions as needed.

I found Sarah on Bark after losing 100lbs as I reached a stand still of independently losing weight. Sarah has helped me continue my weight loss goals by introducing strength training while incorporating rehabilitation of my previous injuries. She makes it just hard enough to challenge but not hard enough that it hurts or is discouraging - and we still seem to make progress every week! I've continued to lose weight with her guidance in the gym and nutritional advice but I can't thank her enough for helping me gain a body that is more comfortable to live in. It is empowering to have strength to maneuver my own body as I please and live in less pain.

I'm looking forward to another year with her to reach more goals with her help! I highly recommend Sarah if you're looking for someone to teach and guide you through this next step of your life.

I have been working with Sarah for almost a year now, and the progress I have achieved working with her has been incredible. She provides the right guidance and workouts I need to do to achieve my goals. She is always available for questions and ensures that I am motivated to change my workouts and increasing weights. I love how Sarah incorporates an app with the workouts that I will need to complete during my off days, so that I can be able to keep in line with my schedule to achieve my goals. My husband and I contacted Sarah 8 months ago to help us work out regularly and stay fit. We have been now working with Sarah twice per week during all this time, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. We are both working and have a baby, and working with Sarah has been the first time after 9 years of search that we have been working out consistently for so long.
With Sarah we have been doing conditioning and weight training. I’m very happy with the workout programs she comes us with, which are challenging but tailored to our needs/injuries/physical state, and I love that Sarah helps us maintain the right form. It’s important to me that she is an expert in exercise science and I trust her with choosing the best exercises and intensity for us — especially after my husband had an injury from working out with a workout app.
I like that she keeps track of our progress and comes up with a different exercise program for each session, which helps us stay motivated. To me, Sarah strikes just the right balance between encouraging us to work hard, while also paying attention to our state and making it ok to stop.
Finally, I’m just really enjoying working with Sarah. I like learning about kinesiology from her, asking her questions about physiology, differences between exercise styles, etc. She’s been so flexible and accommodating with all our changes in schedule and workout adjustment requests.
I am incredibly grateful to Sarah for all her help and organizing of our workouts. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a personal trainer or help coming up with a workout program.

3 words: consistency, discipline, and sustainability.

Nothing is achieved without consistency, you can't expect to see results within a couple weeks. Great things take time, you need to involve health and fitness in your daily life. You need to have discipline to show up when you're tired or don't feel like it or your busy, if you want it you can prioritize. And lastly sustainability, you need to have a fitness routine and diet that is something you can do for life- no fad diets, no juice cleanses, just balance.

I love seeing my clients start to feel confident in the gym and in their abilities. Many clients come to me intimidated by the gym and feeling down about where they are and seeing that transformation to someone who is confident in their own abilities is everything

I was inspired to start my own business after working in a commercial gym and seeing the sleazy sale tactics and trainers with lack of experience and proper education. I wanted to do things my way, from a place of authenticity that put the client first
