On the weekend we went to Toscana to celebrate both my best friend's birthday as well as my own. It's been a few years since I've been to Toscana so I was excited to visit again! To my surprise they renovated the restaurant recently which looks amazing, both sharp and modern. The food was absolutely delicious (I had the tenderloin bites to start, and the Ravioli as my main), and the service was absolutely perfect.It was an amazing evening and a big thank you goes out to the staff for taking care of us! Went for dinner and was delighted on how good everything was!! Started with the shrimp in a rose tomato sauce they were cooked to perfection. I had the veal piccata and was sooo good, my wife had gluten free pasta and enjoyed it as well. Finished with some tiramisu and creme brûlée. We will be coming back for sure. The service was great!!! We are in Calgary for my nephew’s wedding and selected this restaurant on Thursday evening. The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the pasta and risotto dishes. Totally delicious and very authentic Italian cuisine. Peter was a terrific host; very friendly and hospitable. My wife and I suggested Toscana’s to my sister and her husband and two friends on Sunday evening and we were totally happy on our second visit. Peter suggested the 3 pasta plate special and the half price special on the $50 wine selections? The 6 of us ordered 2 plates and 2 bottles of wine and we were not disappointed. We highly recommend this restaurant. We will certainly come back to this restaurant on future trips to Calgary. More...

I like the ambiance and wait staff is nice. Â It great to have a relaxing meal. Â Had Calamari Fritti for appetizer. Â Was good. Â The wait for your entree took a little longer than expected but not a problem at all. Â I got the Prawn & Calamari dish and subbed the risotto with grilled vegetables. I reviewed the restaurant and wasn't too sure about going here. We arranged for a lacrosse team with 20 people to go. The place was amazing and the owner was equally great. Everyone said the food was great. Top notch service, great food and accommodating owners. Go to this place. It's big enough that the people at the front weren't bothered by the group at the back.
