When I first considered engaging a coach to work through a significant transition in both my career and my life, I was overwhelmed. Deborah was the one who pointed out that my life and career were so intimately entwined that they needed to be addressed together. Sounds simple, but many people miss this and deal with only part of they should. As an architect and designer, I was intrigued by her creative approach and her training in Design Thinking, a methodology that I use in a different way in my work. Deborah is one of a very few who are skilled in applying this method to our decisions in life (Life Design). Jessica was my mentor and coach through my grade 11 & 12 year of high school through the YWCA Mentor program. I'm so grateful to have met Jessica.
She made me realized a part of my dream but I now have an idea what I want to do! My inner artist is still there and I hope I will continue creating. Her advice really gave me a new perspective and helped me through difficult times.
There was so much I did not understand, but she was there to help me through it. This was so important to me because she showed me that anything is possible even as an artist. I was referred to Think Partner by a close friend of mine. I went into this open minded (which I highly recommend as you will get the best experience) and not really knowing what to expect. I just had one coaching session with Deborah which really worked for what I needed at that point in time. If you asked me before if I thought I would get value from one coaching session, I probably would have said no, but I did! What I liked the most about Deborah is that she takes the time to get to know you and your needs and customizes the results specifically for you. She recognized what I needed and stopped there.
