I had my backyard crab apple tree pruned and cut back as much as possible. I also had one main branch of a plum tree removed. The crew of 3 worked very efficiently while being careful of other garden plants. They were very friendly and did an amazing cleanup job of all the branches and crab apples which also involved my neighbour's backyard. She too was impressed by their hard work and efficiency.

I called several places to check on prices, and Real Tree Masters had the best prices, as well as the best reviews on Home Stars. The arborist was quick to come and provide the report on the tree I was looking to remove from my backyard (left the back door open and he came within a week). He guided me through the entire Toronto permit tree removal request form. There was also some more info required by the City of Toronto, and he was very helpful in resolving their concerns.The permit was issued a few wks after by the City of Toronto and the actual removal was booked a couple wks after that. They came during the day, and when we got home from work the tree was removed and the entire area was clean (as if it had never happened, and noting this was a 40ft tree and there is not a lot of room between the houses - typical Toronto home).Very happy with the overall experience. The team at The Real Tree Masters is the BEST. From the start, you know you are in good hands. Mina gave me a very fair quote, and also told me how to proceed to get exemption to remove the damaged tree in our backyard. A huge branch on our tree had fallen onto our neighbour’s tree; moreover, the tree trunk had cracked. The job was complicated and hazardous. The team that came out over the two days – Laurie (the arborist), Daniel, George and Nick – were FANTASTIC. The same was true for Bronson, who came to remove the stump. Bailey, at reception, was always responsive and helpful. Each member of the team was courteous, worked incredibly hard, and knew exactly what to do. Mina kept in touch at key points to make we were happy with how the work was progressing.

At one point, we ran into an issue as the base of the tree was right up against the fence. We thought the adjacent panel of the fence would need to be removed, but the team came up with a creative solution that didn’t cost a penny! It’s very clear that Mina is an exceptional boss, who recruits people who are knowledgeable, smart and just plain nice.

We contracted Mina and his team to cut back a large, long, seriously overgrown privet hedge with the hope that it will rejuvenate next spring. He provided a detailed, written quote with a competitive price. He sent a three man crew who arrived promptly on the scheduled day and quickly had the job done. Wednesday morning, I had David and Stephen both crews down here to cut down my 25 years old pine tree because the roots are all gone to my driveway caused the curbs to be like a piano key board up and down irregularly. David is a powerful and smart group leader, he and his crew cut the tree down in no time. The clear up was amazingly down with all of them involved, David played an important role in the team. He is knowledgeable of who he is doing!
Stephen came right after the cutting team left. He cleaned up all the stumps in a flash, a hardworking man with nice smile on his face!
