Celebrated our five year anniversary there. The setting is comfortable and quiet. Food was really tasty, cocktails by Franco were amazing and the service outstanding. Will definitely return!

This was probably the best experience I have had at a restaurant. As someone who works in the industry, it was amazing to have a knowledgable server. We were there for the first night they rolled out a new menu and the food was phenomenal. Will absolutely go back again next time I am in town. Do not miss out on this place. Enjoyed you establishment very much. Staff were great and the food was awesome. Highly recommend the Smoked Beef Tartar and Duck bites as an appie. Service was really great! Our server was incredibly personable and helpful. The bar got absolutely slammed later in the evening and service slowed down significantly but our server kept in touch and let us know about the delay. The women’s washroom was closed on the Derrick side so our server had to escort any women over through the kitchen to the lounge on the other side which probably added to her being really busy. We came here after spending 20 minutes on yelp trying to decide on a great local spot while we were visiting town. We had a few lack luster meals at the more expensive spots and were looking for a more relaxed feel. The food was rich (French inspired) but just right! We started with mushrooms on toast and ended with a few gin cocktails and duck breast with rice. We were traveling from Boston looking for a place to grab a delicious drink before driving out to Banff. The gin selection was awesome and the cocktails were well balanced, many being prepared with a fire garnish. 4 stars because the food wasn't my favorite- it's was fine- but we've eaten many $140 (Canadian) meals and this one just didn't stack up. We got the steak, beet salad, and the corn. The steak was overdone, and so was the corn. Otherwise the veggies were fresh and the salad was flavorful. We had a table of 7 for a get together. The service was great. The drink menu was almost overwhelming but our server (sorry cannot remember her name) made some suggestions and we were all happy with what we got. The food was incredible. Between us we had the pork belly, sirloin, halibut, lamb, broccoli salad, oysters. Everything was amazing.It was very quiet but that was a Tuesday night and we were basically the only table in the restaurant.
