By educating them on the importance of breathing and how to move from the inside out first. Optimal movement must start from a place of solid posture, core strength, joint mobility and stability as a foundation. Without these principles in place injuries will be inevitable.

I choose to focus on physical function and ability over size and appearance.

Helping people overcome pain and mobility issues and go on to achieve success in whatever else they choose to pursue whether it be training for a marathon, chasing their kids at the park, playing a team sport, weight lifting or just getting through the day without discomfort.

I founded "the Behan Protocol" as a way to move fitness and wellness practices away from the regimented, big box gym setting into a more personal and empowering environment, focusing on strength, ability and well being over appearance, size and weight!

I believe wellness is an investment in your future and that fitness should empower, educate and inspire you through its life changing benefits.
I have over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry and a sound background in anatomy and physiology that I make use of to design programs that are safe and effective. I have literally worked with hundreds of clients of every age and from all walks of life.

Currently I am only teaching online classes due to the current global situation.

the "Behan Protocol" is a ground breaking fitness program that focuses on form, alignment, precision and coordination allowing you to take control of your low back pain by teaching you how to engage your core; the root of all movement and by transforming your level of joint stability and thoracic mobility; the key to spine health!
Building on Pilates and the principles of pelvic health and challenging you as we take CORE training to the deepest possible level, you will learn the basics of CORE activation and proper technique to ensure results that improve back and pelvic health and benefit daily life.

The "Behan Protocol" consists of 8 levels (4 Primary and 4 Enhanced) of low impact (but not low intensity) conditioning classes designed to be accessible to anyone, taking you successfully from a beginner level to an advanced level practice.
The Protocol will teach you how to gain physical awareness, improve posture, gain strength and flexibility all while promoting stronger abdominals and a healthier back and spine!
Each class builds into the next level while slowly increasing your strength, endurance, flexibility and
co-ordination with emphasis on joint mobility and stability; the key to a healthy, aligned spine!
