I really liked Larry and his team. Not only was he thorough, he was also flexible and well priced. I generally find any service team just makes up some quote that hits $5000. I don't live in the west side!!!More details: After spending 4 hours DIY sanding about 20 feet of a grey fence I realized it wasn't a great idea and thought I would see what services were available. I discovered Larry online as a cleaning and staining service, a quick phone call and an hour later, he was there to give me a quote. He was well priced and in addition to the fence I got him to do the deck, shed and pergola. I was working to a fixed budget and hadn't planned to get him to quote on the deck, shed or pergola but he came up with a fair price for all of it and some great cost saving ideas, which I ended up taking advantage of. He started with pressure washing all of it/them, which brought the grey fence right back to new! Wow, what had taken me 4 hours with a belt sander took him 10 minutes to pressure wash. He then went on to do 150+ more feet of fence. He also cleaned the back cement patio and walkway while he was at it. Wasn't part of the deal so truly appreciated.I had some ideas on stain and Larry made some suggestions. He liked the transparent stain on the fence but wasn't so sure about how the deck and Pergola would come out. I was pretty persistent so Larry ended up doing some test spots of different stains and see what I liked. So glad we went with his suggestions, he suggestions were by far better and we ended up going with them. More on that below. I had hoped to get the deck to be natural color but it was treated wood and even after a year of drying out it still looked green in many parts. Worried that a clear stain would show the green, Larry stained 2 small parts in a hidden area of the deck, 1 one with the clear I wanted and 1 with a Teak he recommended. Wow, the Teak looked AMAZING and completely hid any of the green. So we went with the Teak and couldn't be happier. I had also purchased $150 of clear stain for the fence. Now Larry liked to use his own brand (can't blame him, I hear some paints/stains can be horrible to apply) but he gave my stain a go. He was happy with how it applied and the color, so he recommended we use it on the shed. It looks awesome and saved me $150 of wasted stain. Mucho appreciado.So all in all, I was exceptionally pleased with Larry and team's recommendations, quality of work and price.
