What do you love most about your job?
We are educators at heart. We love to plan. We love to interact with our students. Most of all, we love those AHA! moments. It's small moments like these that fuel our forward and bring us to our students every single day with an open mind, love for learning and huge smile on our faces!
What inspired you to start your own business?
As teachers who have 30 or more students in our classes, we felt powerless in some cases to help our students on an individual level. However much we tried, there were always a few students whose needs we could not meet on an everyday basis. This is where Step Up Academy grew from.
At Step Up Academy we embody the belief that every single student can succeed and step up to success with the right supports and approach. It's out job to show our students to path and empower them to embark on this journey.

Our classes are offered in an online capacity to ensure all our families and teachers are safe.
Math Tutoring
We provide math support for students between Kindergarten to Grade 12. Receive support with school work, test preparation, homework and learn ahead. We teach lessons, provide extra practice and homework to learn beyond the class!
Kindergarten Tutoring
Enroll your child in our innovative and engaging Kindergarten Tutoring program to learn Reading, Writing and Math. The learning is hands on with minimal to no typing. Children are guided through custom-developed lessons that are exciting and challenging!
English Tutoring
Support your child's Reading and Writing skills with our carefully designed language program. Students focus on building very specific writing skills such as how to develop ideas, plan their work, write effective sentences and add in details. Similar care is put into our reading program as we teach students how to summarize, make inferences, the different part of a story, and more! Watch your child soar to greater heights with their Reading and Writing!
French Tutoring
Support for students between Grades 1 to 12 in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening in French. We provide school support, homework support, test preparation as well as learning ahead with lessons and homework. Just let us know what your child is struggling with in French and we can help.
Individual Tutoring ( 1 on 1)
