Last night we ordered the fish and chips for our family of three! It was absolutely delicious!!✨ We think it’s definitely the best fish and chips in the region! The quality and quantity was perfection! The crispy batter on the fish was awesome and the perfect ratio!! Not overly greasy at all, & definitely not squished like a processed pancake! Super fresh!! It took me 15 mins to drive home and it was still hot when we started eating! 🍽 🔥 The pieces you get are a wonderful size! Golden brown! Very Nice presentation and arrives exactly as pictured on their page! The service was lovely! I walked in, was greeted with a cheerful smile and our order was already packaged up and ready to go! 🎖 The only thing we all wished was that there was a lemon wedge 100% we will be returning for more! 10/10 would recommend! While their food is certainly delicious, my praise for The Lass and Ladle comes from their commitment to community. Terry and her staff were kind enough to provide a full Christmas dinner for vulnerable folks in Northumberland lovingly prepared and packaged. Twenty-two souls, some who may not have had Christmas dinner otherwise, enjoyed a full festive meal thanks to Terry and the crew at The Lass and Ladle. Lass & Ladle recently catered a rehearsal dinner for us. We weren’t just satisfied, we were amazed. The food was delicious and interesting and even looked after vegetarians too. The presentations were fresh and fun. The service was excellent. The groom and bride-to-be and all the guests were so surprised that we had such an amazing caterer right here in Grafton. as local Grafton residents we have been eagerly awaiting the opening of this quaint restaurant in our village. We ordered the CheeseBurger, the chicken fingers and the chicken ceasar wrap, both the cheese burger and the chicken fingers were good with decent portions the wrap however was more wrap than filling with minimal chicken and bacon even the lettuce was sparse, the pricing is quite high for the meals we ordered. As they are just starting out in this endeavour we will give the restaurant another chance but overall the first experience wasn't what we were expecting from all the hype. More...
