Tourists in town for the day. First off, we asked a lady on the street if she could recommend a restaurant with good food. She said she had just finished lunch at Soulfood on the corner of the street, told us she loved it & what she had. We went in & were not disappointed!! Being so hungry at 2 pm after walking around town, we had a hard time making a choice from the very extensive & many creative healthy choices! We finally made our selections. Hubby had a sausage roll and house salad. I chose to try the baked cauliflower & broccoli platter. All SOOOOO good! When I asked how the veggies were baked, our server had the cook come out to tell us in person. You could just feel the passion she had for her creations. We also enjoyed meeting & conversing with a local senior who came in for a meal. He was a wealth of information regarding specific places we were researching on this day trip. Thank you Roger! Overall, a very pleasant experience, delicious food, great ambiance & very pleasant & accommodating staff. Will highly recommend this restaurant & will definitely return next visit to Cranbrook.
