What do you love most about your job?
I love that I get to be an entrepreneur. That means being creative, thinking on my feet, and generally getting paid for problem solving! I love digital marketing because it's empowering small businesses of all kinds to compete in this digitizing world. Most importantly, though, I love helping companies take their business to the next level. How does it feel when you're able to successfully show someone how they can make more sales or improve customer retention? It feels awesome--and what I do every day!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always been my own boss, so it hasn't felt like work at all. The only limit on how hard I need to work is how strong my willpower is. When people use the term "putting in the hours" they generally don't mean that literally: they're talking about working with sustained discipline and a deep focus. And since those two things are easy for me to do, it feels really good to be working on something I'm not just putting off until tomorrow. Finally, sharing what this freedom has done for me has been personally rewarding because when somebody sees you succeed it does something for them--it's contagious.

It's important to understand in today's economy that clients have lots of choices when it comes to the design and marketing agencies they work with.
