We moved to Barrie a year ago with our two chihuahuas. We lived in Florida and Trinidad&Tobago before here and SVH is by far the best veterinarian service we have ever experienced. The change of climate here affected our dogs in many ways and because of that we have been to SVH several times in the last year. Fortunately they offer pet insurance, which saves us a TON of money but it certainly doesn't change the quality of care. Dr Spring is our dogs' favorite vet, and Dr Bolton is amazing too. The staff truly cares for animals and they treat ours and all others with love and care - we've been there often enough to see this firsthand - and no concern is too insignificant to be checked out thoroughly. We are so lucky to have found the perfect veterinarian team via friends' recommendations. If your pets are family then they deserve the best care. Simcoe Vet Hospital gives them exactly that, and more. Don't waste your time going anywhere else. More...

I chose this vet out of convienece because it is super close to home. I stay because the staff is AMAZING. Dr. Spring and all the vet techs have always been awesome with Tucker and never make us feel rushed. Highly highly recommend!

Dr. Spring and Staff have been wonderful! Our dog Odie likes to get himself in trouble (porcupine, etc) at times and Dr. Spring has always looked after him. Odie loves going to the vet and staff always are great with him. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone! More...

The Simcoe Veterinary Hospital was wonderful to us. Our dog Tysen was very ill with GDV. The doctors and staff put everything on hold to save our pup. They worked hard to keep us calm and explained what was happening every step of the way. Unfortunately Tysen did not make it. He was too weak and his heart could not stand the stress.
