Shean Architects is making our dream home a reality.

We had countless designers and contractors walk through our beloved 120+ year old home and tell us we'd be better off tearing the whole thing down rather than renovate it. Rick Shean took one look at our home and came up with a plan to refresh it that exceeded our wildest dreams. The home he is creating for us is full of natural light, character and warmth. His vision and creativity know no bounds. We feel fortunate to have Rick in our corner and would highy recommend him to anyone.

Rick did a fantastic job on our home - we are so happy with the design. He took our tiny old boat house and created something really special. Rick was responsible for the design and material selection and also guided us through the build process. He got our vision immediately, mixed it with his understanding of space, light, lines and materials, and allowed us to create a unique space - beautiful, yet functional, with a big wow factor. He understands how to direct your eye by placing windows in the right place and gets room proportions just right. The space feels even bigger than we hoped and we have lots of storage space too! He's also very good at finding the right compromise on design vs cost to create a high end look at a sensible price. On the materials, he saved us a lot of time and money - his experience, contacts and vision made choosing the materials straightforward. We really enjoyed working with Rick - he knows his stuff, took our vision on board... but made it soooo much better. More...

Rick Shean pulled of pure magic taking our 100 year old tiny farm house into a modern inner city home. His use of light, clean lines and the ability to make any space look much bigger than it is while maintaining a relaxed vibe is very impressive.
