In about just 2.5 weeks since I started training with Shawn, my bodyscan showed a 2.5Ibs reduction of body fat mass & a 2Ibs increase in muscle mass. Shawn was recommended by one of my friends. It was my first time going to the gym and Shawn really helped me transition from being someone who didn’t do any exercise to someone who happily goes to the gym 2-3 times per week.
Shawn was professional yet felt like a workout buddy at the same time. I never felt like he didn’t want to be there with me or just treated the sessions like a job. He made it enjoyable for the both of us and genuinely wanted to help me become healthier. His attitude and knowledge in this field also made me feel safe during the training sessions.

His academic training in kinesiology means that he can explain why we're doing something and he ensures I'm doing the exercise correctly. Shawn has turned my training sessions from something I hated to do to something I now look forward to. He’s designed a program suitable for my age and fitness level.
His knowledge of kinesiology makes a huge difference in how he directs my training. As a super senior, there are days when one joint or another isn’t in top form. Shawn adjusts the training accordingly. I love the program he’s worked out for me and it’s one in can do independently when not in town.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Aside from being able to have my own approach, it's more flexible so I can spend time with my clients more if needed, have group fitness classes, and in the end, I am my own boss :D
