How long have you been in business?
Self maids was founded in 2023 but has been operating since May of 2020, just a few months in to the pandemic.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
For move-in/out and post-renovation cleaning services, Self Maids Cleaning Services provide all supplies and equipment.
For all other cleanings ** Please note ** We always use your well-functioning vacuum, mop, bucket and toilet brush so please be sure to have those items on-hand. This ensures there isn’t any cross-contamination from house to house. We arrive with everything we need to get your home sparkling, and we take all our supplies and equipment with us when we leave.
If you have preferences in regards to the cleaning products and equipment we use, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I started Self Maids early 2020 from a simple, but yet powerful desire to care for my family.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All staff required to wear mask while interacting with customers
For standard cleans, customers will need to have their own mop/bucket and a working vacuum cleaner should be present in the home as a safety measure. This is due to a potential spread/transfer of viruses or germs from these items.
First-time cleaning
First-time Cleaning will effectively set your home up for subsequent cleanings by us or for you if you choose to take on your own housekeeping.
Other cleaning providers charge an initial cleaning fee, but we choose to make First-time cleaning a service of its own.
Deep cleaning services
Our all inclusive top-to-bottom deep cleaning service is recommended if you haven’t had your homes cleaned professionally in the past 90 days. We'll clean ceiling fans and vent covers, and get on our hands and knees to clean baseboards. It’s a lot of work, but we love the final product.
Spring house cleaning
If you have been wanting to do a spring cleaning of your home but feel overwhelmed by the chores, then call Self Maids. We can tackle all chores in no time and you can relax and focus on things that really matter.
Move-in cleaning
Want your house completely cleaned from top to bottom before moving in? Book a quality move-in cleaning that values customer happiness more than anything. our move in cleaning package is designed to impress.
End of tenancy cleaning
