Q&As

At Active Solutions Medicine, we have made the following changes to the clinic to ensure we are following all the new and old requirements set out by the CMTBC (College of Massage Therapy of British Columbia). We are following this protocol to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, but that risk cannot be reduced to zero.

● Both thr patient and the RMT will wear a face mask during the entire appointment.

● Before and after each treatment the RMT will thoroughly wash their hands with
soap and water.

● After each treatment the RMT will sanitize the door knobs, treatment table,
chairs, sink, computers, tablets, lotion bottles, and counters.

● Patient will use the hand sanitizer provided before and after each appointment

● The RMT must use the BC COVID-19 self-assessment tool daily, and stay
home/cancel appointments if experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

● The RMT will cancel treatment if patient does not meet the pre-screening
criteria

● Patient must arrive unaccompanied unless patient is a minor who requires
parent/guardian, or needs assistance

● Increased time between appointments to be able to thoroughly sanitize and
reduce traffic in the clinic.

● The patient must cancel their appointment if they are experiencing any symptoms
of COVID-1
