Delicious and amazing flavours!! Wow, this is some of the best food I've ever eaten, ever. We had the beef curry, whitefish chowder, garlic/cheesy naan, and the beef momo (dumplings) and when I say everything was amazing, I mean - EVERYTHING was AMAZING! My boyfriend usually doesn't like chunky soups and this one he was licking the bowl!The owner (from Nepal herself) cooked everything to order, and was such a sweet & kind woman. It was so authentic! We came to try the dumplings because we read the reviews on them but were so pleasantly surprised to find out how great everything else tasted. If you are in Owen Sound, YOU MUST TRY SABITRI'S!!The other 2 reviews say the service was terrible, and yes it was a little slow - but if you are a little patient, it will be worth it. The owner was a very sweet & kind woman and she made everything herself! I do NOT agree with the other reviews saying the food was not great. This place is AMAZING, and if I am every in Owen Sound again - I will for sure be coming here for some yummy, home-cooked, love made food :) More...

Absolutely Delicious! Had the veg & tofu curry platter and frig it was good. Came with super yummy chickpea curry something, broccoli & cauliflower curry, too-generous serving of basmati rice, and perfectly crispy naan strips. 9 out of 10 spice level was spicy but not super spicy for a guy who likes spice. I'll have to become a regular when I go to Owen Sound so the chef can really know I handle heat well =P Hope to see this restaurant do well! More...

All of the food was exceptional. Good meat and vegetarian dishes. Sabitri makes everything from scratch in-house, including the paneer (cheese). She cooks on the spicy side, so ask for a 3 or 4 unless you really want fire. More...

Great food! Nice vegetarian options, but good options for meat lovers too. I'm not a vegetarian, just not big on meat. I usually get the tofu curry, but the chicken is great too. The samosas are awesome, I wasn't never really big on them til I ate one at Sabitri's. It's nice seeing business pick up and more people coming in and enjoying the food as long time customer. If you had trouble with service, give it another go. There has now been hired help for the cooking, and the service has greatly improve. The food is worth it! More...

We enjoyed the Valentines dinner buffet, and I was totally impressed with the flavour of the food and the comfortable level of spice. I am sensitive to spice but enjoy the flavour of these foods, the naan bread was still soft but slightly crispy (perfect), and the vegetables were really tasty, I had some kind of meat curry and it was so tender and flavourful I had to go back for more! I went to this restaurant for the lunch buffet yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was fresh and flavourful and I was impressed that there were so many vegetarian options. The samosas were amazing! Honestly, everything was authentic and top notch. The service was friendly and the price was right. The people I went with also really enjoyed their meal as well.
