We had aluminum wiring in our house that needed to be changed over to copper and when getting the quote for that work, Bryan had told us that we needed to upgrade our electrical panel, which would also give us more space as our existing one was full. Bryan answered our questions about the quote that Ring Electric provided.Our project took about a week to complete, and Derek, Brayman, Mike, and Ray were excellent each day. They were on-time, courteous, and professional. They also had drop sheets placed throughout the work areas and wore boot covers while inside. Derek communicated with us their plan for each day and what they were planning for the next day and involved us whenever they had questions about something instead of doing something unexpected or skipping over it. Ring Electric came to my home to get the required information for a detailed estimate. They were knowledgeable and polite, and got the quote to me quite quickly. On the day for which the work was scheduled, they arrived at the specified time, and ensured that my hardwood floors were protected. They worked quickly, and efficiently, doing a thorough job. They answered any questions I had with enough detail to satisfy me. As they were finishing, they ensured that all the circuits which required AFCI had AFCI breakers installed. I was referred to Ring Electric from another electrician and was very happy I did. Bryan responded right away, scheduled an estimate and arrived on time. He was very through in assessing my generator, my current panel and what I wanted to protect. Bryan made all the right assessments. The install date was scheduled and the electrician arrived right on time. The job was completed, the transfer switch was tested, demo was provided on how to operate the transfer switch in an emergency and a printed copy of the instruction was left beside the panel. Split level fully finished home in Nepean, was professionally rewired by Ring Electric. On budget. Complexities due to split level layout and large home footprint, but the team added more resources and a couple more days and just got the job done. All team members were pleasant. House was always left clean. Floors were protected. Office staff were diligent, and communicated in a timely manner, triple checked on our status, and we concluded well. Crystal set up our appointment and answered my preliminary questions offering an estimate on what my repairs would cost if that indeed was the issue. The guys arrived on time and repaired my electrical issue quickly, showed me what was wrong and answered my questions. The job was to install an Aerovironment 32-amp EVSE. James of Ring Electric did a great job. He installed a 40 amp breaker and a NEMA 14-50 receptacle. On the EVSE he added a stove whip to plug into the receptacle. It was very neatly done and the ESA inspector said that it was the best install of an EVSE that he had seen to date. The 'upscale' fixture/fan combo in our upstairs hallway was acting up. While the fan worked, the light didn't, suggesting possible faulty wiring. Don and Ryan of Ring Electric were very punctual, arriving when they said they would, and carried out a thorough inspection of the wiring, and of the bulb socket and bulb itself, checking and re-checking the readings on their meters. Though we had installed a new LED bulb to fix the lighting issue initially, which worked for 2-3 weeks, turned out this new bulb was a dud! Once a new working bulb was installed, problem gone! I live in Russell Ont. I was looking for a contractor to install a Generator I was going to buy at Costco. I called a company in my area and ask them if they would install and service the Generator. INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! EXTREMELY TRUSTWORTHY!!! First off, they responded within 24 hours of my email, set up a time for a quote within 3 days of my original contact, called the day before to confirm, and then Bradley was on time. He was friendly, but also straight to business. I had already been given a quote of approx. $2000 and also told it could go as high as $5000, so when Bradley offered up a solution of $1400 I was very happy. Then he took another look, went to his truck, got a part, installed it, and told me that was all I needed! NO CHARGE!!! He easily could have justified doing work I didn't really need done for $1400-2000 and I would not have known any better. They just got themselves a customer for life. THANK YOU!!!! More...

Based on the excellent reviews on HomeStars, I hired Ring Electric to replace my 19-year old florescent undercabinet kitchen lighting with new LEDs. Bryan came to our home to provide a free estimate. Two weeks later, his team came out for the installation. The two gentlemen were professional and friendly, and did a very thorough job that lasted only about 1-1/2 hours. They removed and disposed of the old fixtures and left us with a new lighting arrangement that was exactly what we wanted. The final price matched the estimate. Island is on angle, coupled with a cathedral ceiling, which made for a finicky installation, which was handled with attention to detail and lots of patience. From the estimate (they were the only people who gave me a quote for the work I wanted, rather than the work they figured I could get by with) to completion, re-wiring my _entire_ home has been a totally painless process. Part project managers (asbestos testing and coordination with Hydro are among the things they just... took off my plate), mostly electricians, these folks know what they are about. The work was completed in the estimated amount of time, everyone i met that worked with the company was cordial, polite, and considerate of my living space, and follow-up with both the technical and administration teams has been utterly painless, and even pleasant!
