I hadn't played this course since it was rebuilt. It is spectacular, both the redone old (front) 9 and the new back 9. The fairways are lush, the greens are like a plush carpet yet fast, and the views are like none other. I played in early October, so the fall colors were beautiful. The course is challenging, with a lot of very interesting shots. One of the best and most beautiful courses I have ever played. More...

Redstone is a beautiful course. The greens can be challenging and there is plenty of sand, although not hard to stay out of. We return in June/July to stay the weekend and play it twice. We stay at the quaint Lakevold Lodge, which is within walking distance. The course staff and resident players are very friendly and welcoming. We see wildlife each visit. It is entertaining to hit a tee shot and see bear cubs run out in the fairway to play. This past weekend, we saw a bear eating cherries in a tree behind the men's tee on 17. She paid no attention to us and we took a wide berth around the tree to the tee box. They appear pretty golfer/cart savvy but, of course, always be cautious and stay a safe distance. You want to enjoy your round of golf in the mountains. More...

Nicest course in the West Kootenays. Fairly challenging. Pretty punishing if you don't hit the fairway. Clubhouse is pretty dated and could use modernizing. Good food though. Highly recommend the full 18 for the back 9 especially. Driving range is pretty small and narrow. More...

Love playing at Redstone in Rossland. This is definitly a challenging course, with many gorgeous vistas. My favourite hole is the 18th- as I love to hit the ball down the hill. The clubhouse is the original log cabin and the food is great. Also- surrounding Redstone are many beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails. More...
