Four months ago, I walked into Coach Adam's gym, a place as welcoming as it is equipped, where even the resident cat added to the charm. Back then, I was, to put it mildly, exceptionally scrawny. It was like I was nearly invisible, a ghost among the living. That's when Coach Puffy stepped in.

His initial reaction to my ambitious goal of gaining 50 pounds within a year was honest – he called it delusional. But, true to his expertise and positive spirit, he assured me we could achieve something close. That's all I needed to hear.

I've been working with Coach Adam, akaPuffy, for about five months.
When I first met him, I had a hard time staying on track, getting motivated, and understanding how to eat right to get stronger and put on weight.
I've always been really skinny.
I was only 120 pounds and 5'8" tall, and it made me feel not so good about myself.
But things needed to change, and that's exactly what happened with Adam.

I'm really happy to say I've gained 15 pounds now! It might not sound like a lot, but it's a big deal for me.
My body looks and feels different, and I'm way stronger. I can lift two times my own weight now for deadlifts & squats, and I'm working on lifting even more.

Every time I get good at one exercise, Adam changes our workouts so I can keep getting better.

He talks to me a lot and makes sure I'm doing all I need to do. I'm super thankful for his help.

My mom found Adam on a site called Kijiji. I've been with him for 4 months now.
Adam is more like a big brother to me than just a trainer. He always helps me and answers my questions. He does a lot more than he needs to. I've lost almost 50 pounds with him, and I want to lose 100 pounds total. I know we can do it together!
Adam knows a lot about eating healthy and exercising. Anytime I have a question, he's there to answer, day or night. His gym is private, so it's just him and me. This is perfect because I used to be scared of big, public gyms.

I never thought I'd say this, but I actually enjoy going to the gym now thanks to Puffy! He's not just a personal trainer, he's a comedian too. I mean, who else can make burpees seem like a fun activity? Puffy knows his stuff when it comes to fitness and nutrition, but he also knows how to make the whole experience enjoyable.

I used to dread going to the gym and would make up excuses not to go, but now I actually look forward to our training sessions. Before I started personal training I knew I wanted to be stronger but dodnt know how to do it. I tried doing a bunch of youtube workouts and they never really worked for me. Once I started training I got a lot stronger with your help, and you pushed me to be better. You knew my limits and made me go past them in order to be successful. The only problem(s) I had before personal training was: 1. I had no where to work out so when I saw the ad for the carport gym use, I was elated! 2. I didn’t know how to level up and challenge myself when it came to lifting more weight and what my strengths and weaknesses were.

These issue’s didn’t make me feel any type of way, I had already come a long way on my own with my physical journey.

I wasn’t sceptical about anything in regards to personal training. It’s all about energy and the energy fit with Adam. He is funny, caring, he has great pet companions and he farts and he is regular degular if you know what I mean (all jokes on the last line.)

A lot of things changed for me when I started personal training. I was challenged by using my own body weight, and dumbbells, cables etc. A lot of things I wasn’t using in the gym. I was usually on the stair machine, and would utilize a specific theme of machines, like say if it was leg day, I would use all the leg machines I could until I was tired af. On arm days I would do all the arm machines I could until I felt tired af.
With Adam, I learned to breath correctly through my movements as well as warm up and stretch. I was happy to use my body in a different way and learn new methods to gain more strength.

I would say specific results would be I am stronger! People look at me as say wow Alice, you look great you look strong. I am confident in myself when it comes to trying new things and challenging myself and my pals in the gym.

I know a lot of people who have taken personal training and had different programs etc. They lost a lot of weight and some did it on their own. I would not give any advice because it’s different for everyone. Most people around me don’t have the desire to be in the gym early as fuck, or late or as often as I do, no do they want to stay as long as I do. I am on a lifechanging journey, and as a First Nations woman I want to lead as a strong, confident, alpha woman with a banging body not only for myself but for my daughter. I can’t speak or make anyone else want it, it’s all in the mind and it’s not as easy as some may think.

All in all I appreciate his efforts and his passion when it comes to getting me to my goals. I am a stubborn Capricorn so I don’t always see eye to eye when someone is telling me what it is I need to do but I commend him for pushing me. I am currently on pause with the training, but I can’t wait to get back and show him I’m ready for the next level!

I have been going to Coach Adam for the past three months. I had mobility issues and I could not walk for long periods at a time. I have had amazing success with Adam and couldn’t recommend him more! Before starting a work out and meal plan I was having issues sleeping, relaxing and staying focused. Burning the candles at both ends and not finding time for myself led to exhaustion and frustration. With overall health and weight issues.
I realized the only way to get control was to take control and there are times we need to reach out for help. Reaching out to Adam was one of the most positive moves I have made and have not looked back to work with an individual who had first-hand experience what it was like to have body image that affected our mental state. His passion and drive helped me realize it takes hard work and dedication to reach my goals BUT that I could do it. It is important to understand limitations in your body and share with your trainer who will design a program that best suits you. Have physical limitations does not mean you cannot accomplish your goals it means you may need to work tour body in different ways.
Having a personal trainer who acknowledges these limitations and researches the best way to handle such limitations is a dedicated trainer.
I was not once skeptical, since the trainer knows where I was coming from and where I wanted to get to. I know meal plan and meal prep, I enjoy various forms of exercise from yoga to spin to core strengthening to a simple walk.
A trainer who listens rather than tells you what you have to do is the trainer you want.

Besides providing them with personalized nutrition and workout plans with realistic goals and targets, one of the most important things I help them with is accountability.

I provide support for my clients throughout the week and around the clock to ensure that any questions they have are answered and that they are putting in the necessary work.

For my in-person clients, I guide them through workouts, and for my online clients, I use pictures and videos to make sure they are working out with correct form.

I am also always educating myself so that I can learn new and better ways to train my clients.

I preach this all the time: consistency is key. Stick to the plan and success will follow.

This applies both to working out consistently as well as following your meal plan consistently.

Abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym, and muscle growth can only be optimized by eating clean and hitting your assigned macros.

My range of equipment allows my clients to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of their workouts. If we need something for your workouts that I do not have, I am open to suggestions for new equipment.

- Your program and meal plan will be personalized to your goals and body type. Programs can be adjusted as we move forward with your training. - My prices are competitive and get better as you commit to more sessions. Payment is always made before sessions occur. Payment and scheduling is on a month-to-month basis. If you let me know more than 24 hours ahead of time that you cannot make a booked session, it will turn into a credit for a future session. These last 3 points are non-negotiable.
