!!!WARNING!!!! !!!THIS IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!! Looks at all the previous fake reviews! all reviews are with in the same 48 hours. Our moving experience was one of the worst we have ever had. Big zero for the company and will never work with you's again and spreading the word. Was not greeted at all. I had to confront the workers. There was no "hello we are from power moving, how are you?" Nothing. Zero customer service skills.They just had a grand smug attitude. It took them a total of 15 minutes just to get out of the truck. (I see why they work hourly) The 2 workers were not friendly by any means. One was sitting in the truck for a large amount of time, while the other wrapped our delicates. (No wonder it took them so long to pack and move.. I paid for 2 guys and received 1 and a half at best.) I wrapped more belongings then the one worker. Thank God I did or it would have took them 12 hours to do a 3 hour job. He would move extremely slow, carrying one or 2 small things at a time. While literally walking in circles. There was zero communication from the sales rep to the workers, the workers had to ask the same question up to 4 times. Ex. Do we have to move everything in this space? I felt as if we were working with children. Yes we have to move everything. I don't know how/why they could not comprehend that answer. But after the 4th time it clicked. They were not properly wearing their mask. Completely unexceptional! I can't believe you have anti-maskers working for your company putting our lives in danger. I have photos of your workers with out masks. I'll attach a photo. We would like some kind of compensation for this extremely dangerous/ poor job. We are going for covid-19 tests this week. Your workers are the only people that exposed themselves to us without a facemask (We of course had ours on the whole time) I'm happy to speak with any part of management about the neglect, arrogance, and life threatening behaviours this company and workers provided. This is the response they send.... "I'm sorry to read that you are not satisfied with the moving service that we provided you. I'll contact the movers that moved you to know exactly what happened and I'll get back to you as soon as I hear back from them Regarding your complaint about the masks, I can guarantee you that we don't have "anti masks" in our company. All of our workers are following the covid restrictions. From your side I'll need you to understand, that to move furniture and heavy equipment isn't easy job and the movers are also humans and they need to breath. Our movers didn't provided you a customer service job that they need to speak with you, but that had to move non stop and carry heavy items. It's a very hard work that can cause faint if the movers will not get the amount of oxygen that they need during the move Let me to speak with the guys regarding the points you mentioned and I hope to email you back later on today" We can see how customer satisfaction/safety is zero concern to this company. I used Power Moving for 3 times when i moved last year and this year. I was extremely satisfied after the first move. So, I booked them for an additional 2 moves, for my rental homes. Again the best service and timely service i could want. Professional and reliable , which was very important for me and my wife. I also referred them to my sister-in-law for a long move from London to Barrie. It was 17 degrees below zero that day and I didnt hear one complaint from these moving people. My move with this company was the best choice. Competitively priced, great staff and everything was safe and sound. From start to finish my 4 movers, Charles, Sartaj, Chaste and Nabil were professional and kind. They constantly reassured me and explained anything I asked about. They were so energetic and moved fast! They didn’t let up in spite of 2 trucks full and a very long day. They all had experience and it was clear that Charles knew how to pack a truck with skill of the trade. Everyone made an effort to put things where they belonged and wrapped everything with care. So it's been over a week since we used Power Moving. We paid close to 1100$ for a one bedroom move which took more than 6 hours. The other place was 8 mins drive away. My partner Aiman has left the review below I would urge you to read it. They got back to us and offered us Cad $100 to take the reviews down but honestly, if you click on their positive reviews most of them are fake. The postive reviews are profiles created only for one review and have a standard fake message. We don't want someone else to be duped into thinking that they're good by seeing such high ratings and that's why we had our friends also comment (Our friends were horrified, watching with us how bad these movers were). They didn't wear masks, they damaged some of our furniture, beyond stressed us and they have not apologised for anything really. My ankle is sprained as we really had to work till exhaustion and power through the pain as the movers were that incompetent or just would dissappear for a while. Power moving will always have an excuse for everything. But these are still the facts. 1100 CAD, 6+ hours, 1 bedroom pre-packed and disassembled ready to go move. We didn't take the 100$ offered because we believe it's not worth duping someone else into getting their highly rated service on Google and Facebook. More...

We paid over 1000 CAD for a 1bedroom to a 1bedroom move INSIDE of downtown. I emailed them 4 days ago and no response. They're rude & instead of trying to help, they put it all on their T&Cs which Daniel made us accept over the phone. We asked for an afternoon move but Daniel called us back (once we'd booked both elevators) and asked us to move it to the morning so they can do someone else's move in the afternoon. We happily moved everything to accommodate his request. Spoiler alert, Sukhwinder & Gurpreet stayed with us for the afternoon on account of being incompetent. Daniel also assured us that we shouldn't take more than 3 hours since it's a one bedroom. He also told us to book the first elevator at 8 AM (we booked the movers at 9 AM) and the next one at 10 AM. The quote, to ensure they're not legally responsible for anything, however says that they will come anytime from 9 to 10 AM. Yet, the movers called us at 8.50 AM stating they were late and apologising. Why did they think they were late then? They also had texts about them getting this job's notification at 7.40 AM. Gurpreet said it was probably because other movers cancelled on them so they were called last min. The manager I spoke with, James Lee, threatened to throw our stuff out on the road and leave since I said he was scamming me. I'm sorry, but how is this not a scam? Six hours to move a one bedroom? My friend moved from downtown to North York which was a 25 minute drive. 3 hours. $450. My other friend moved from VANCOUVER to Toronto, from a huge house. Paid under a $1000. Two of my other friends also attested they paid between 300 to 500 for their one bedroom apartment moves. Also, I really wish he'd left my stuff out because I naively shut up and let him threaten me -- it would've cost me less to get new movers last minute. I thought okay, it won't take that long in the new place. It did. Mostly because they weren't using any dollies. The building manager offered them a dolly, they refused. They stuck to one dolly. Then finally my friend showed up at 3 and scolded them into using another dolly. So they took one out -- they had another one all along! They were using their hands. And by they, I mean Gurpreet. He's incompetent but he works hard. Sukhwinder on the other hand would disappear for 15 min each time he went to get something to load. He once came back with ONE Ziploc bag. Not joking. We lost both the elevators since they were late but both buildings worked with us to ensure that didn't delay us. The staff at the other building said you won't need very long once he saw the inside of the truck. Obviously his estimate that it would take an hour-ish was to be taken seriously. Yet they took more than three hours. Gurpreet showed me a text after I'd Interac-ed the money to them and he had a photo of my confirmation & sent it to James, and he wrote back "stop working". Anyone knows that for large sums of money it takes longer to go through. You already HAVE the code. It's been 20 mins. They held my stuff hostage until they received it. This is mafia behaviour, candidly. They also made us pay a fine they got for parking wrong. Granted, they had to move the truck bec of the garbage but I had no idea it was in an illegal zone? I don't own a truck? Why didn't you tell us to stand in front of the truck to ensure we don't get fined? Another 100 CAD down the drain through no fault of our own. They also damaged some of our items. My boyfriend SPRAINED his ankle trying to do things faster. They also told me they make only 16$/hour while we pay the company 60/hr. My partner & I did a lot of the work so even after paying over $1000, we still got injured, exhausted & stressed. We are also in our twenties so this blew our budget, so if you're not insanely rich & would like to not be stressed to the point that you end up crying on the phone while talking to their manager while he threatens you, or injured to try to hurry up the process, pick ANY other movers. The worst experience ever !! They were late yesterday! Caused our family so much heartache and grief , would not release my daughters belongings off the truck until she paid an amount the was NOT agreed upon , they sat there for another 3 hours , the ‘owner ‘ would not come to a resolution like good customer service should ! ! Instead kept sending bills that were higher and higher A moving nightmare!!! And the drivers were told not to take payment from her !!! Power Moving was scheduled for my move on June 12/2020. The move turned out to be a disaster as many of my furniture pieces got knicks and some were more damaged. I have a chair to my brand new dining room set that is totally unusable because the leg is broken. They are refusing to own up to what they did because I put a bad review (which they deserved) on Homestars. The owner accused me of lying about the damage. I wish I could attach pictures.
