If you are a property owner, please avoid Portsmouth at all costs. In a year and a half, and with two properties with the company I lost over $10,000 in potential rental income and unnecessary expenses.

It is nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone. They are lazy (i.e. a property sat empty for three months, after I took the leasing into my own hands, I had it rented in two weeks). They are incompetent. One property had a leak in the roof in the middle of winter and it took over a month to fix and $3,800. Two months later the leak reoccurred. Fortunately, I had a new property manager at that time and he had it fixed within a day for less than $1,000. More...

I used this company and looking terminated the agreement in first month itself, the company only cares to get their fees and is ignorant about the fact whether the property is rented or not. For the full month they did not do any work mentioning that they will advertise the property only if it is vacant and make an effort to rent it. technically the landlord looses one month rent, which they are ok with. All the calls and questions come unanswered, their property manager never responds in time. They pushed me hard to hire their vendors for property repairs and management.
